Corel WordPerfect Office Home & Student 2021 | Office Suite of Word Processor, Spreadsheets & Presentation Software [PC Disc]

This product requires some learning as different than the Microsoft Office products. I use Office 365 at work, it is so temperamental with explorer closing randomly in mid use as does the Excel and Access programs. I have definitely learned to save consistently. They came up with Share Point - repeated the same depth and naming conventions they did in the nineties with folders initially. Teams I have to close and re-open constantly. My team is not a Teams fan. Years ago - okay decades - I used to use WordPerfect in the work environment. I thought a better product back then so am going back to it on my new personal home use computer versus the one I use to VPN to work which I match to the work machine in theory hoping to not have compatibility conflicts. Been unhappy with Microsoft since they have gotten unstable and snoopy with the sharing across platforms. Guess what - I have not had random closures using WordPerfect. It is better priced. Less temperamental thus I am way happier. One downside I noticed on conversion is some date and time fields in Excel lost their formatting but once I converted from Excel to the WordPerfect product and back again it held. I even tried to talk my wife into switching but she was concerned about the learning curve. I can use in WordPerfect and convert to Office should I share with another. Yes, there is a learning curve but I am way happier. Go retro with a stabile product you own versus licensing that has to be renewed and you do not know what is going to break/change next. Their change is not always for the best. You do have a cost-effective stabile alternative to Office 365 - it is called WordPerfect Office.

There isnt much difference between the business version and student version of Wordperfect. If you arent publishing ebooks or PDFs, the student version will do everything you need. We had the same struggle installing the software, however, as we had previously had with the business version. The installation did not want to go through and didnt recognize the serial number. Once again we needed customer service to get involved.

It is the program that I learned on. And then for whatever reason Justice switched to Microsoft Word. I used it because I had little choice. But I always loved WordPerfects reveal codes feature. This made it simple and easy to correct glitches in a document that would otherwise have you pulling your hair out trying to figure out what was screwing up your document. You can also save a WordPerfect document so it can be read by Word. I highly recommend WordPerfect. Note Im basically talking about the wordprocessor. I hve limited experience with other programs in the suite, but unreservedly recommend the WordPerfect word processor.

Installed 5/30/2022 and was prepared for the usual Microsoft problems.

The Program has everything you might need for home, school or light office documents. Ease of use and modest price are the main reason for me getting this product. Along with prior use of Word Perfect Office.

WordPerfects reveal codes still make it the best word processor hands down.

Sure has missed this program for my writing needs. Happy I found this!

This software is a real workhorse for the current price of around $100 for 2 PCs. If what you need is the big-name brand, I suggest you pay for it, but if you need something for occasional home use, this is a fabulous alternative.

Tired of software subscriptions? This office suite does everything youll need for one low price!

For my usage it has some features better than Microsoft and at much better price/value. Setting up account with Corel was not successful, but not really interested in receiving promotions anyway.
