> 24 hourI purchased these to replace a factory original basket on my kitchen sink. The original one had a rubber gasket that collected grime and was hard to clean. These new ones are all stainless steel….can’t rust or get dirty. They are great! You won’t be disappointed with them.

> 24 hourThese fit perfectly in the sink drain, water pours through easily (as long as there isnt too much food), keeps the bits of food we dont want clogging up the pipes and septic behind, is easy to empty, and looks like its good quality (the stainless steel looks like its well made and wont tarnish). I wanted to get this because I hate food going down the drain (we have a septic system) and the strainers with the rubber plugs at the bottom that came with the house never work correctly (theyre always tilted so water can go through). These are great because it will catch the food and allow the sink to drain efficiently!

> 24 hourI bought this because the thin wire mesh ones always had stray wires underneath that would poke out and cut my fingers when I was emptying it. You can imagine the disgusting bacteria on a sink strainer, so I bought this as a safer option. I love that it doesn’t cut my fingers and seems to clean up easier but it SO easily gets clogged. I will end up with a sink of dirty water and have to shift it to get the sink to drain before I can empty it.

> 24 hourI like these, they do keep the debris from the drain, but wish I had purchased some with handles, these are a bit difficult to get out to clean.

> 24 hourI bought one of those screen-type strainers, assuming I’d regret it.. and was right. It was so flimsy it wouldnt lay down flat, and caused an even bigger pain in trying to keep a clean sink. My life fell into chaos. I searched the world over in search of a strainer that actually worked. Finally i was able to bribe a sherpa to take me to a fabled guru who lived in a remote cave deep in the Himalayas who reportedly had found a decent sink strainer. After months of meditation, rituals and cold-weather conditioning, i won his trust and he shared his strainer experience. And it’s PERFECT. Sits snug and flat in the drain recess, picks up easily and cleans out with a simple upside-down tap! So while all told my strainer cost me over $85,000 in travel, supplies, lost wages and medical expenses, you can attain strainer nirvana for the measly, enlightening price of about 7 bucks. Do it!! Do it now!!!

> 24 hourAs a stop-gap when our mesh version of this broke, I bought a mesh drain strainer from walmart and it was utterly useless - everything got past the rim because it was extremely poorly designed. Its such a simple thing - howd they screw it up? We need a strainer to keep food from adding to our septic tank waste. This strainer works well to keep food out of the drain, the rim fits a kitchen strainer perfectly and is sloped so the stuff goes into it instead of under. I also like this design better than the similar designs with stainless steel mesh because eventually that mesh starts to get damaged - they are usually only good for a few months. This one looks like it would last indefinitely. Cant Love it because its drain strainer but it is designed well and made from quality materials.
