> 3 dayDefective PSU. Spent half a day trying to figure out why my motherboard kept turning on and off, and never expected a brand new PSU would be the problem. I have much higher expectations when spending $320 on a PSU.

> 3 dayIts a Corsair PSU, nuff said. It powers my i5 8600k, water cooled & slightly overclocked with a GTX1070Ti overclocked. I have not had the fans turn itself on during operation... either that, or its too quiet for me to even realize it is on.

> 3 dayTop notch PSU. Worth bumping your budget up $50. This is one of the least expensive units that can run two separate cables to your motherboard and two cables to your GPU. You can use one, but this puts half as much power through each.

> 3 dayInstalled this Corsair RM 850X power supply in a Cooler Master HAF 932 case, connected to an ASUS P6T board with an I7-975X. Replaced a 5 year old TX 750M power supply. I thought the fully modular nature of the cabling might make connections confusing, but the cable descriptions in the manual and the labels on the Corsair power supply made it easy to connect. Also just make sure to note which peripherals need power; I powered-on, forgetting to connect the Graphics Card power. Not having all the extra unused cables from the semi-modular design really cut down on cable space. The cables came in a separate canvas-like holding bag, which was a very nice touch. The cables were sufficiently long to reach all the peripherals, including the one feeding the CPU at the top of the motherboard, furthest from the power supply; had enough length to run it behind the motherboard/chassis. Cant speak to noise levels since I have other fans in the case much louder than the power supply. Build quality feels solid; expect this to last at least 5 years.

Greater than one weekWhen it worked it was great... I like the warranty, but what I dislike is having to wait to get a new power supplt when this one died after only 10 months of use. Suppose to work for 10 years.... Oh well... guess I should have never stopped using EVGA Supernova power supplies... Tried to save a buck and got burned!

Greater than one weekA Friend ordered this product for me. After 30 days we discovered our issue was low voltage output from this unit. The warranty process has taken an additional 30 days to receive a replacement. Their shipping department is absolutely slow... like taking the slow boat to, and back from, China!
