For a few bucks more I opted for something thats a bit overkill, so it will run quieter (since it isnt working as hard), and will last me for 10 years.

The Corsair Store is apparently not affiliated with Corsair at all. The factory said this vendor sells returned and refurbished units and they will not honor any factory warranty when purchased through this vendor. I have a power supply that failed in less than 6 months and I now have a paper weight. I am going to contact Amazon and see if they are aware this is a sketchy vendor.

I found that the PSU is well constructed. easy to install unite but the cable ends that are connected to main board power connection to thick. really hard to plug in. it is like the plug is to big

I am not an expert on PSUs, but it arrived, was packaged well, and was easy to install. Hopefully this one will last me 6 years like my last PSU did.

Absolutely love the fully modular version and how I went from having what seemed like a hundred cable leads that I balled up in the bottom of my case to just what I actually needed.

Zero complaints. Setup was easy. They give you more cables that you will probably need. Modular is awesome.

One thing to note is that EVGA cables do not interface with this PSU. If you buy this to replace a modular EVGA then you will have to re-run cables. I know this from experience, i do not know about other brand capabilities. That has nothing to do with the quality of this product though.

Whenever I wiggled the AC cord the power supply would shut down. Traced it down to a weak internal space connector. The AC movement was moving the back plate, which in turn was wiggling the internal connectors. Talk about poor quality.
