09-06-2025This supply relaced my evga 650 to run a new gpu. Please note that you should use all cables that come with this supply. I tried getting away with the evga psu cables and that just didnt work.All in all its a nice solid quiet psu.

> 3 dayDOA (Dead on arrival) I must be unlucky or something but the power supply never work. I bought a EVGA power supply and my computer works. Pretty scary on your first build to have something not working on arrival. Thought I did something wrong but finally it was the power supply. Look probably bad luck but unfortunately I won’t buy Corsair anymore. Just a bad experience.

> 3 dayI dont know who at corsair decided to use these cables but they are terrible. At each connector they use about 2 inches of heat shrink. This basically means there is a 2 inch hard piece of plastic at each end of the cables that cannot bend. Essentially what happens is the cable sticks straight out from the connector about 3 inches and there is nothing you can do about it without potentially damaging the cables. This is a nightmare for cable management. Who the hell thought this would be a good idea and why has corsair not fixed this yet?

> 3 dayGreat power supply for the price, lots of room for future upgradability, if youre not on a tight budget I HIGHLY SUGGEST buying an aftermarket pair of cables from somewhere like CableMod as the stock ones are super difficult to bend.
