You wont miss it with this pw/ supply, great quality and very well made. Youve got every power cables for your devices included. Very silencious and efficient. I would recommend it and buy it again in a snap. one thing is this thing is a little bit pricey but youve got what you paid for.

This is a pretty basic fully modular PSU (ho fanless mode, etc.). It works well with my Intel i9-7960X machine. Its very lightweight. I bought it as a temporary replacement for a broken Seasonic Prime Titanium 850 that is noticeably bigger and heavier (and frankly, exhibits weird behavior sometimes).

It certainly works, very quiet, good power delivery, especially on modern systems.

Just received the RM850x and I was under the impression that I was getting the newer model , but no.. the 850 thats selling right now is the older but still amazing (2018) model with the rifle bearing and not the Mag-Lev. Minus two stars for the misleading information on the amazon page and for leaving my package in its original box on my porch exposed and tagging it as handed to customer.. It was most certainly not handed to me!

A top notch power supply. I run 6 hard drives in my computer and this thing can handle the load with room to spare

The power supply arrived beautifully packaged, on time, and looking perfect. It was easy to install and made absolutely no sound - or output voltages. When I contacted Amazon for an exchange, they said they were out of stock and recommended contacting Corsair directly. When I explained the situation, the first customer service rep at Corsair was very sympathetic and helpful and quickly offered to generate an RMA and exchange the PSU. Then nothing happened. I contacted Corsair again and the next rep said that since I bought the PSU through Amazon, I should handle the issue with them. So I returned the PSU for a refund and got a different one. Then, almost a week later, the second Corsair rep emailed saying that since Amazon was out of stock (which I had established on the first call), Corsair would exchange the PSU. Of course, by this time the Corsair PSU had been returned and the other PSU was on the way. The other PSU arrived, was installed, and is working fine. The best thing about this whole process is how well the Amazon return process worked. It was simple and quick.

So, just the facts. Purchased this from Amazon Warehouse as Used - Like New. Box came still sealed in shrink-wrap with only a small scratch on the outside. Everything inside was brand new. Great deal I thought.
