20-11-2024Perfect for build. X570 TUF ...3700x , 2070 super and some fans. Got watts to spare. Glad I didn’t have to pay 3rd party mark up! Sharks they are!

> 3 dayThe power supply in this 12 year old machine was considerably overworked by all the add-ons that Ive made over the years and it eventually died. The Corsair is a lovely piece of equipment that installed easily and is a big improvement over the original equipment. It runs quietly and the fan only turns on when the machine is under load.

20-11-2024I mean its a good powersupply, but the cables are so stiff it makes it hard to cable manage in a tight case. I had to make some extremely tight and uncomforable bends (well, theyre closer to folds than bends) so I wouldnt have cables jutting out of my motherboard. Theres really thick black tape near the ends of the cables where it would probably be ideal to bend them, which is annoying, and the sleeving itself adds considerable bulk.

> 3 dayThis is the 3rd Corsair power supply Ive bought personally for home-built rigs. I buy them a wattage class bigger than I need. This one is so quiet and feels solid. Never had a failure after ~7 years of service in the 1st rig we built with it. Ill stick with this brand as long as they continue to deliver such reliable and well-built products.
