    Ran this at 3000mhz with zero issues on a Skylake build. Switched to X99 and heard about issues with memory running at that speed, but was able to run without issues by choosing the XMP settings. Doubled my order to 4x8gb for use with the EVGA X99 Micro 2 motherboard.

    I brought this to go with a Ryzen 5 2600x on a Gigabyte B450M DS3H. The ram ran at 2133Mhz out of the box, but turning on XMP profile 1 in the bios got it to 2933Mhz (max for my setup) no sweat.
