Coway Airmega AP-1512HH Air Purifier Replacement Filter Set, 1 Count (Pack of 1), White

Great product. Description sounded like more than 1 filter. Way too much money for 1 filter.

I ordered this in November and replaced it on the Coway purifier immediately. This claims its a year replacement but 6 months in and the unit is warning to replace the HEPA filter soon. It does keep the air clean and fits perfectly but I think it should last closer to a year.

I am still really enjoying our air purifier almost 2 yrs later and these filters really keep up with the terrible air at my current location. They are not your typical air filters they are sturdy and very easy to remove and replace in the purifier.

I bought a set previously about a year ago and immediately returned it for the same reason a lot of people here complain about: the smell. I bought these again hoping that maybe the quality had improved and I was pleasantly surprised. The filters didnt have such a pungent smell to it this time. Its there if you smell for it but its very faint. I installed it in the fan and the air smelled fine. The print on the hepa filter itself still looked like an imitation of the original filter that came with the fan but at least it was usable and fit.

I was a bit skeptical when ordering because I have never used an air purifier before. We just moved into a small cabin which had lingering smoke and marijuana smells - turned on this machine and the smell was gone within an hour! I was amazed! It runs very quietly, was super easy to set up and get started, and it looks stylist and nice in my cabin. It is a bit pricey but so far is earning its way. As allergy season progresses we will see how it affects my husband’s ability to breathe better but so far I am extremely impressed!

This is an actual Coway filter set, manufactured and sold by Coway via Amazon. I saw various other options ,some a bit cheaper than this set, however I didnt want to take a chance and get a knock off filter set. After all I spent a couple hundred dollars on this air purifier from Bed Bath and Beyond so why cut corners and save $10 to risk getting a knock off. The packaging said Coway and the product was definitely brand new and fit my AP1512HH Coway Air Purifier like a glove. Its nice that with this particular order, you receive the HEPA filter, and two of the mesh filters as well, since they are meant to be changed once every 6 months and the HEPA filter is meant to be changed once every 12 months. If you purchase this item, you know that youre getting the original filters that go with this particular Coway air purifier (the big black box purifier with the silver round circle on the front!)

Better instructions for installation needed

I noticed no persistent smells from the HEPA filter, as some reviews indicate. The filter smells clean and runs fine. The fit is excellent, and is one reason why I went with the OEM filter rather than a third-party filter, where a common complaint is that the fit of the HEPA filter is poor. Any gaps would allow for particulates to travel around the filter. This product contains two carbon filters and one HEPA filter. The carbon filters are on a six-month replacement schedule, and the HEPA filter should be replaced yearly. So averaged over a year, I find the replacement filter set to be reasonably priced.

I just wish it came with more filters

A lot of ppl did that these smell weird when installed but for us they were prefect. We had a new baby so that was a concerned for us. They fit perfectly. Worth the buy
