05-06-2025This plate is a huge improvement over the stock Ender 3 plate. The original plate needs to be held on with clips, and this one just has high temp adhesive to hold the magnetic part to the build plate semi-permanently, and then the main build plate attaches magnetically so its easy to remove to take parts off. My prints are much cleaner now, and the plate is way easier to clean too.

> 3 dayI have ran PEI magnetic sheets for about 6 months and find they are the best adhesion(with alcohol cleaning before every print). The release is fantastic especially for larger prints. So small print still need a little motivation. Downside is the sheets are a lot easier to damage(gouge) then glass. When running firm ware that allows negative z you have to be very careful not to trench the sheet. It does not ruin the sheet just makes it less effective.

> 3 dayWas having adhesion issues with PETG... not anymore! Prints almost stick too well now. Was easy to swap for the ender 3 pro magnetic build plate.

> 3 dayAfter fighting with the glass bed on my Ender 3 V2, I was looking for a bed that would release prints without having to knock the print off. I found this PEI sheet from Creality. I was amazed how easily prints came off. 5 prints later, the item came loose and the print failed. WTF bed is cleaned after every print with IPA. So I try a reprint with a glue stick, it wouldnt stick. I then tried hair spray, still wouldnt stick. These were not difficult prints, a temp tower and retraction tower. The temp tower made it 20 minutes before it moved off the sheet. The retraction tower made it to the second layer before it grabbed the print and slid off the bed. I tired the back side, just plain sheet metal, still no bueno. Im going to sand this sheet a bit and see if that helps and maybe try a textured PEI sheet but this particular Creality product IMO just plain sucks.

> 3 dayI had problems getting the PLA material to remain attached to the original textured matte that came with the Ender3 v2 neo. Using a PEI matte made a huge difference. I have not had issues with my projects detaching from the printing matte since I started using it.
