Orderd wrong part but would of been well if I needed it

Just great! Before getting this I had the in worst extrusion issues. Since the second I installed this my life is so much better!!

Nice improvement over the stock plastic extruder. The only complaint I have is that the spring that comes with it was almost too tight, and was causing my filament to not feed correctly. Fixed the problem though and now I’m back to printing.

Works as it supposed to.

The Z height of the new extruder arm is taller than the stock Ender 3 V2 arm but they didnt provide a longer screw to compensate. This results in the arm not being able to screw into the extruder motor as designed. If the arm isnt screwed in correctly this results in the printer being unable to pull in the filament correctly and you end up with no filament coming out at the nozzle.

My original part broke. This replacement got my machine up and running. I used all the supplied parts that came with this, and held on to the removed screws etc for future use. Will recommend. Extrusions are smooth and the feed is great.

Is this the best extruder on the market? Nope. The big brands (bondtech, e3d, ldo, etc.) are all going to push filament more reliably. This one only has a single drive gear, so its never going to power through partial clogs like those can. That said, its dirt cheap comparatively, so if youre just looking for something that can apply more force than the stock plastic extruder creality includes on some of their printers, itll give you a nice improvement.

Everything about this installation was easy and pretty self explanatory in the guide. They also included an extra extruder gear! The knob up top is3d printed and the tension adjustment is easy to use and works better then stock or the red aluminum upgrade. Save your money and buy this one!

This is a direct match to replace the plastic stock extruder

I installed the new assembly along with a new bowden tube and hot end. I had issues with the extruder tip, but I got that resolved. Then I had a print fail and noticed that I was getting a lot of filament grind from the extruder gear. I already had the tensioning screw backed out as far as possible and it was still happening. Finally, I reinstalled the old spring and the issue resolved.
