Creality Official Upgrade Extruder, MK8 Extruder Alloy Block Bowden Extruder 1.75mm Filament for Ender 3 Series, Ender 5/5 Plus/Pro, CR-10 Series 3D Printer

There seemed to be conflicting info about the compatibility of this extruder with the CR-6 SE, but I took the chance and it fits perfectly. You can see in the pictures the filament runout sensor aligns perfectly with the gear and the rest of the extruder assembly, including the plastic guide that comes with the machine. The hardware that came with the kit is all you’ll need to swap the original plastic extruder with this all metal one.

It helped with my 3D prints. It’s worth the upgrade.

Replaced broken OEM parts on an Ender 5+. Install was easy with video and prints are coming out fine. Would recommend this upgrade when replacing your parts.

Great part. Its a shame these metal parts arent standard on the Ender 5 Plus.

Product is a lot better quality than the plastic factory options (mine had a groove worn in from friction feeding through PLA). The instructions for the product are not good, as they are only a picture but it was not hard to grasp. Only reason I knocked down 1 star is due to the method for the extruder spring tension adjustment. It’s the head in screw which is small enough that it still sits inside the spring. Could remedy with a small washer. Otherwise everything has been great, and even at the lowest level, the upgraded spring was a boost as it helped the tension.

I have not installed this yet because I just now got it to run flexible plu and am afraid to change anything. I looks great, fit and finish are great. I will up date when and if I change out the feed

This works so much better then the stock extruder that came with my ender 3.

It was easy to install, mechanically far superior to the original plastic filament driver that broke in half after six months of use.

The extruder upgrade works fine on a CR-6 SE and is worthwhile upgrade. I wore out the brass gear in the stock extruder and taking the stock extruder apart to service is a huge pain. It is also difficult to re assemble and is made of cheap plastic. The M3 X 18 SHCS screw in the kit is a little short but there is a longer M3 X 18 SHCS screw on the CR-6 SE stock extruder that you can trim to have a screw the right length. The M3 X 18 SHCS screw in the kit worked for me, but I was careful and did not over tighten. The seller in the Q&A says that this will not fit on a CR-6 SE for some reason. This upgrade works just fine.
