Greater than one weekI picked this up as my first upgrade to an Ender 3 v2. The Creality metal extruder drive was fairly easy to assemble reversing the steps that I used to remove the original plastic extruder and with the help of a similar youtube video as there are no instructions included in the package; a little surprising. The process of assemble still took less than ten minutes. After re leveling the bed it was time to test this all metal extruder out. Immediately, I was somewhat impressed with what it created using PLA, but for those of us that struggle with TPU filaments, this upgrade is a must! What a difference in printing ability when it comes to TPU. I think the all internal parts, with no need for the added coupler, helps in creating a direct route to the tubing with no gaps. Very impressed with the quality of the parts and the enhanced printing abilities that are now attainable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that still has the original plastic extruder. Eventually the plastic does degrade and will affect print quality, where the metal extruder will hold up for a much longer period of time while providing consistent great results.

> 3 dayIf you have a plastic extruder, my advice is buy this immediately. Plastic cracks and affect retraction and feed. Go metal!. My gear was wearing, had an incident, nozzle died and extruder just spun on the gear for who knows how long. Got this the next day and bak in business.

> 3 dayHUGE improvement to my 3d prints. Why every 3d printer doesnt come with one of these is beyond me. If you have a plastic extruder, get this. Well worth the price and effort to change. Made a drastic difference in my prints. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayWent together easy but was missing a small washer. Iwould have given all stars if it weren’t for that. Lever has a solid feel. It has the Creality tag in the bag.

> 3 dayFor the minimal cost and the likelihood of the plastic feeder eventually breaking, I dont understand why this isnt included with the printer out of the box. My only complaint is that spring/tension assembly doesnt go together quite like the feeder that comes with the printer; and instructions arent included. Im sure a small fold-out isnt included to keep the price down, but I cant imagine a simple exploded diagram would break the bank. Even a picture on the package would have been all I needed. And no, Im not interested in looking online for something that should have been included. Fortunately its easy enough to figure out with a little trial and error.

> 3 dayThis does seem to be an official Creality branded kit that Im sure will fit any of the advertised units. It matches up perfectly with my CR-10 v2. Im not convinced about the quick-release claw. First, there doesnt seem to be any replacements available and no extras are included. This will certainly wear out over time, and, functionally, it is still a push-pull insertion thing so I dont really see why it would be any better than the standard couplers. Also, since this isnt threaded, you cant even go back to the old ones. We certainly need some sort of improvement over the current PTFE tube couplers, but Im not sure this is it. A big one for me is the toothed gear. I bought some generic replacements and they only had one grub screw. This one has the proper two. That is almost reason enough to go with this kit over some other. Priced well, official Creality, recommended.

> 3 dayYou get all the parts you need and the quality is top notch, but no directions :).. with the spring and screws there is some finickiness to getting it aligned and at the right tightness that you dont have to deal with in the out of the box extruder (on Ender 5 Plus) for me.. but once dialed in its a great upgrade...
