Good pliers but the quality is not that good. Haven’t really used them much but will this summer when I start welding and doing wood projects and working on cars.

I like this particular bundle. I have used a couple of them already and they work great, I am not a commercial user, so I expect them to last due to the quality construction.

AS MENTIONED NOT QUITE THE QUALITY OF ORIGINAL VISE GRIPS BUT FOR THEY PRICE THEY DO WHAT I NEED THEM TO DO WITHOUT HAVING TO DAMAGE MY SNAP ON OR ORIGINAL VISE GRIPS. MAINLY USED FOR WELDING, JUNK YARD TRIPS OR ANYTHING THAT REQIRES GRIPPED AND THE HAMMERED. EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATION. ONCE AGAIN, FOR THE PRICE YOULL FIND NONE BETTER.

These are some of the better locking pliers you can get anymore, without going to the premium (quality and priced) brands like Grip--On or Knipex. Id say they are very, very close overall to the original Vise-Grip brand. I would say that Id put them in between the USA made Peterson Vise-Grips, and the ones they now import from China. Heft and feel are about equal, as is the locking release mechanism. The hardness of the jaws is what Im going by with my ranking. They seem slightly better than the China Vise-Grips, but not quite what the ones made in Nebraska were. These were a little cheaper than the import Vise-Grip brand, so Id consider them a decent value.

Great and sturdy toolset. The packaging sucks to open but tools are fine.

I have yet to subject these pliers to brutal treatment but I think theyll be up to it. Normally Id not review a simple item with many reviews, but Im doing so in this case because of their novel Allen wrench socket in the handle, something Id not seen before. If I set the knurled knob to where it will really clamp down hard, sometimes Id need another pair of pliers to back off on the adjustment knob to open them. But these only require an Allen wrench, which makes it simple and easy to do. Nice!

not very good. spend your money on good ViseGrip brand ones.

Like others say, they are good, but not as good as the USA made ones that are no longer made. The set is very well put together. This is really all you will need for most jobs.

I dropped one star from a five due to the screw adjustments of each unit was sticky and clunky in places when first used. After some use of the pliers, the stickiness is gone and adjustments are pretty much what you would expect.
