These are some of the better locking pliers you can get anymore, without going to the premium (quality and priced) brands like Grip--On or Knipex. Id say they are very, very close overall to the original Vise-Grip brand. I would say that Id put them in between the USA made Peterson Vise-Grips, and the ones they now import from China. Heft and feel are about equal, as is the locking release mechanism. The hardness of the jaws is what Im going by with my ranking. They seem slightly better than the China Vise-Grips, but not quite what the ones made in Nebraska were. These were a little cheaper than the import Vise-Grip brand, so Id consider them a decent value.

I like this particular bundle. I have used a couple of them already and they work great, I am not a commercial user, so I expect them to last due to the quality construction.

This brand gets my loyalty due to its great quality, Cresent is synonymous with quality. You might buy a cheaper tool, but you are buying a cheaper quality, the nominal difference in price comes with a huge difference in quality!

Nice solid heavy duty wrench. Gets the job done. Would highly recommend.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. She is her own handyman and often works alone. Everyone knows a vice grip is like having an extra pair of hand. She loves them

Better than some Ive seen but there doesnt seem to be any truly good ones out there. Im have all my friends looking through yard sales for older models made in USA

AS MENTIONED NOT QUITE THE QUALITY OF ORIGINAL VISE GRIPS BUT FOR THEY PRICE THEY DO WHAT I NEED THEM TO DO WITHOUT HAVING TO DAMAGE MY SNAP ON OR ORIGINAL VISE GRIPS. MAINLY USED FOR WELDING, JUNK YARD TRIPS OR ANYTHING THAT REQIRES GRIPPED AND THE HAMMERED. EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATION. ONCE AGAIN, FOR THE PRICE YOULL FIND NONE BETTER.

The price is right and it suits my needs. I think the quality is not great but it does what I need so its a five star for me. I have a tripped screw in a small space of my car that I think a mechanic will charge a lot of money to remove (I try the pliers, but it gets worse); so I buy this set just for the small vise grip to remove the screw. And it does the job.

Got sick of having to look all over for pliers so bought these and regular set and have tools on every level of home and cellar, now. Have already used a few times.

These are better than the average vice grip, but I’m definitely disappointed with their quality considering their brand name. jaws were quite loose especially on the larger pairs. A few of them had misaligned jaws when they closed and i don’t expect these to wear in well. Would recommend spending a little more for a nicer set
