Cricut Tools, Scoring Stylus

Saw a scoring tool at my local craft store but it was $70. Bought this one for much less. It was a cinch to use this with my cricut, which made my project much easier: Cutting and folding 30+ birdhouses to hold treats for party favors. Score!

Where has this pen been all my life?! I have a Cricut Explore and after owning for over a year I discovered the scoring stylus. It is so easy to use and it works so well. I used to cut the shapes and then use a rule with a pen to make my own scores and how the Cricut does it for me. If you have any scoring needs, then definitely buy this!!

Works great! I’ve used it for several projects already! I do wish they would make a dual sided tool so we don’t have SOOO many different ones laying around.

I thought this stylus actually scored the paper surface by cutting it but alas, it does not. Rather, it indents the surface (just like a ball point pen would) making the paper easier to bend at that indented line. It is made well so I gave it 4 stars anyway.

There wasnt any information about how to actually use this once purchased. It turns out that you need an adapter if using it for your Cricut Explore One, and it doesnt come with it. This is one of the biggest problems I have with the Cricut products...no instructions and things dont usually work very well (mainly the sticky products). Anyway, after searching in the local craft store, searching online for an adapter, I finally had to send an email to Provocraft about the unavailability of the adapter that I needed, and how to use it, etc. They were very kind (which is why I give this review 4 stars) and sent me one in the mail free of charge right away. Once I figured out how to position the adapter exactly, this tool works great. But it should come with an adapter in the package.

I like to use this instead of changing blades to put in scoring wheel. It saves a lot of time and does a good job.

I wish it would score a little deeper... but that is in the control of the cricut, not this stylus. This works exactly as it was designed to - and folding any paper crafts without it is chaos!

Arrived one day earlier than expected, works fine, and the price was not bad compared to other sites.

The product is easy to use. Not too much to it, but I like to make cards so this tool comes in handy.

This tool set is needed in my crafting closet. I wish, however, that all tools were included in one set or could be bought separately since I dont need every item and hate buying multiple sets.
