Cricut Tools, Scoring Stylus

I wish this had come with the machine. I use it all the time and when I make things from scratch, I am always adding scoring lines to help fold the paper. This one is a must buy.

Very easy too use

Let me say first that I am totally new to vinyl crafting and just purchased my Cricut Maker a few weeks ago. That being said this scoring stylus is not what I expected. On light cardstock you can barely find the line. Perhaps there is something else for the maker? I found that on darker colored cardstock you can see it better but it doesnt help at all for folding.

If you make any cards with your Cricut Explore you need this stylus. It will only work in the Explore. I dont know why it wasnt included with the machine though. You put it in the drawing/stylus tube on your machine and press it down to where the down arrow no longer shows. The only problem Ive had using this is that on some cardstock the scoring line it makes is not very deep and it still takes a bit of work bending the cardstock on the line to make the card or envelope.

There cant be an Exceeded expectations here, either it worked or it did not. And it did. Would buy again and recommend this as the price was better than Michaels price.

This works perfectly in my Cricut machine. I am currently working on making over 100 wedding invitations and this gives me the perfect score line every time. It is definitely worth the money!

I like this product, but it doesnt score deep enough. I think the tool is nicely made though. I think its just the pre-programmed pressure in the Cricut Explore Air that makes this not score deep enough.

I had a project that called for scoring and nowhere around me had this in stock. I had never used one of these before and considered just folding the paper. I sure am glad that I ordered this instead. It was so easy to install and use and it made perfect score lines for beautiful folds.

love this embossing / scoring pen. It makes smooth soft lines, not deep sharp trenches. The depth is adjusted according to the material you set your cricut to. This works really well with my cricut explore air. So much better than turning the blade upside down and using the end to score / emboss.
