Greater than one weekThis tool does seem to make making cards a lot easier. Is it ABSOLUTELY necessary? No. But is it really handy and does it save a lot of time? Yes. Overall, if youre going to go through the effort of making cards with your Cricut machine, I think its worth the money to buy the scoring tool.

> 3 dayI made some greeting cards and the score line was perfect. I had always used a bone folder when making by hand. This made a clean perfect fold.

> 3 dayLike many cricut related complaints, the stylus is OK at best. I work mostly with cover stock paper and 140lb water color paper. The scoring stylus makes a super thin score line. Great. Now what? A folding after scoring DOES NOT provide a clean score. Water color paper needs extra scoring by hand to get a clean fold. You cant control the score pressure on the cricut explore so I often double or triple up my score lines in Design Space to hopefully make a cleaner fold. Mixed results! I have used this to make pocket folds on lighter stock and I can say for lighter paper it will make things a bit easier for you if you have interesting fold projects. I can imagine you could do some very cool stuff with origami and lighter paper.

> 3 dayI make pop up cards from 65 lb cardstock. In my opinion it does the job but i find i have to use multiple score line to get a decent enough score mark; and even then it still considerable effort to get a clean fold. I think it should have been more pointed or sharper to give a slightly deeper score line for easier cleaner folds.

> 3 dayCricut Tools Scoring Stylus is a must for your Cricut Explore machine! Ive been using it for paper crafts that I normally score and cut by hand. This allows me to setup a file and have the Stylus score where I need my folds to be and then the blade will cut out my cut lines. The Stylus snaps in to the Pen holder on the Explore. Very easy to use, no cons yet but I will update if there are. Thanks!

> 3 dayIts a great tool for use with the Cricut Explore Air 2 when you are cutting and making cards. I dont really like that it doesnt score as deeply as I would like it to. Things arent that much easier to fold after scoring with this tool. I probably wont buy another one, but do things manually in the future. It is helpful to at least make the straight line to know where it goes from Design Space to finished product.

> 3 dayThe Clover Amour are my personal favorite. I hold my hook knife style. The grip is nice, the tip is the perfect shape. If these get lost I put my project on hold rather than go back to another type of hook. These larger hooks are lightweight but not flimsy at all.
