This RAM does what it says. Very easy to install depending on your computer. Installed RAM in my HP Envy...it was a breeze. One screw in the back cover to access the inside. Just installed 16GB of CRUCIAL RAM in a Dell Inspiron...NOT SO EASY! The keyboard, CD drive have to come out along with 20 screws of different sizes before you can access the inside. Not a job for the faint of heart! Lots of YouTube videos showing you how to do it. Highly recommended.

I purchase this RAM based on Q&A that said it was compatible with the Synology DS1819+......and it is not. I tried using one DIMM as well as both together and the NAS will not boot up. I get the flashing blue light for a while, then it powers off......then tries again.....repeatedly.

It was a gift for my cousin, but I helped him installed them. It was very easy and it showed up in the bio on first boot. Works great! I wish the packaging was better since the one I received was in very rough condition. The item itself wasnt damage so I give it 4 stars instead of 5.
