Installed easily and worked without an issue. I purchased the single 8 GB 2400 MHz 1.2v unbuffered Ram chip. Cheaper than the cost of the factory installed Ram by Samsung.

I bought a laptop which had just 4 GB of RAM and I was looking to upgrade my RAM on the system. I ordered this Crucial CT8G4SFS824A 8GB DDR4 and was scared skeptical about the product. To my surprise the I received what I ordered for and it works like a charm. Now my system has 12 GB of RAM in total and so far no issues has arrived with this RAM. A good to buy product and worth the money.

Other than my mistake on ordering the wrong frequency for my RAM, it was relatively easy to install and my computer picked it up immediately on start up.

Overall, the Crucial memory module lasted for the first year and a half without any issues. Then I started having system stability issues that started with random reboots, crashes and system freezes (that were only resolved with a forced system restart). In the past month, the issues progressively got worse to the point where my laptop could not run for longer than 5 minutes without having a screen freeze (indicated as seen in the attached photo). The only solution to this issue was removing the ram module and using another.

Doubled my Ram in about twenty minutes on Erazer gaming notebook. May take longer on other machines.
