Im used this as a second drive for a while on Mint 19.1 with a MX500 for 0S. I used Ext4 filisysten UEFI mode. I put my rsync Timeshift points on it using XFS. I made an 11GB point just as fast as 2 other high end SSD. It Trims lightning fast. Amazing value considering Microns command line drive health software for Linux is fully supported (however, Microns GUI not stable on my system.) Firmware, if available is OS independent and can be downloaded as an ISO and made bootable on a flash drive (legacy mode). Now Im using it for my only OS drive with Mint 19.2 and Btrfs. Each week it has trimmed in 10 seconds with heavy use (a very big plus because most SSD dont TRIM quickly with Linux). Just a stellar drive for Linux from a great company.

Did what it was supposed to do, died after 2 years which I feel is very short for a modern ssd.
