other than cast 39.99 256gb i would of got the ml500 not bx500 i think it ml u no what i meen but the bx300 and bx500 have same flash but the memory controller is s*** its no different than the 300 series its a newer model controller but its lower if you Benchmark the two the 300 is faster than the 500 but the 500 uses less electricity because its newer any Fishinger but slower so if i had to get any ssd for hell cheep to come to.mind adata su800 flag ship beeest ssd abd other is addlink ssd or it addalink i may not spel it right but thows to names and speed of ssd and how long thay last r bast on markit cuz i got both and adata has ECC buffers and all sorts of extra tweaks to help the speed better plus software and its 40 bucks I will be returning this for that adata ssd 520mb right read 550 mb

Bought this to replace a HDD in my laptop, I followed the instructions on the crucial web site and ran into a problem using the automatic mode because I was cloning from a 500gb drive down to 128gb, however on re running the software and picking custom mode I found it would resize the partition size proportionally.

Not as fast as a M.2 NVME drive, but noticeably faster than a hard drive. Was tired of the spooling up when I wanted to access my data, so I bought this Crucial BX500 SSD. That delay is now negligible.
