All my stuff is still on magnetic, but I really like the price point of these drives. Linux servers dont need a lot of space... I havent really broken 9 GB yet. VMs run super fast, and no issues with compatibility anywhere.

Purchased to replace a failing 320GB mechanical hard drive in my old Asus U-80 laptop. I had also purchased a Sabrent USB 3.0 to SSD / 2.5-Inch SATA adapter (EC-SSHD) which I used to transfer an image of my old drive. The Crucial drive included a free download of Acronis transfer software which made the process simple. The performance difference is quite remarkable with my boot-up time going from 50+ seconds to 21-22 seconds. Programs open up instantly, downloads seem to be much quicker. Very pleased with the performance.

I got this SSD and it worked okay for a couple of weeks. But whenever I was downloading and installing files to it the SSD would slow down the rest of the system. And then it started to just randomly wipe itself every couple of days.
