Crucial BX500 2TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD, up to 540MB/s - CT2000BX500SSD1Z

In the past few months I have installed Crucial Solid State Drives in five different computers. This significantly improved the performance of these older computers and made them seem like new computers. In the case of a laptop computer the improvement in performance was changed from being very slow to being very fast. I highly recommend the Crucial SSD drives. I appreciate being able to purchase these drives at such a low price.

Wir brauchten noch einen Office PC, um mit ihm im Internet zu surfen, Briefe zu schreiben und zu skypen. Zum Glück stand noch ein alter Laptop im Keller rum, der mit seinen 2gb Arbeitsspeicher und seiner HDD Festplatte mit Windows 7 bestückt war. Das Hochfahren dauerte mindestens drei Minuten und auch der Start von Anwendungen dauerte eine halbe Ewigkeit. Doch eigentlich war der Läppi zu schade für den Elektronikschrott. Also kurzerhand den RAM auf 8gb aufgestockt, die neue SSD eingebaut und Windows 10 installiert. Was soll ich sagen: Der PC startet in 15 Sekunden und alles läuft extrem flüssig. Die alten Daten wurden auch sehr schnell übertragen.

Excelente SSD no hay ninguno mejor para ser honesto, literal renovó mi laptop y luego de eso, es el que tiene mayor velocidad de todos los que estuve buscando, muy recomendable y en este caso, viene sin cajita, si viene con un empaque pero de carton, pero no importa ya que en cuanto te llegue ni vas a pelar la caja

I bout my Dell Inspiron 15 (3567), with 6gb ram and 1tb Seagate Hard Disk Drive, well over a year and a half ago and its been great to me. I did programming in Java with it and was great. However, around 8 months ago I would notice that my disk usage would always be constantly at 100% (or close to it) and I tried many setting changes and many “disk cleanup” programs that were recommended online but they never worked. You might ask why did I wait 8 months to buy a Solid State Drive, well simply, I was scared that I was going to mess up my pc (I knew nothing about laptop hardware). However when I went on Crucial’s website and I seen their simple steps I gave it a try. I bought the SSD and bought a SATA data cable (needed if you want to “clone”, or copy, everything that is in the drive that you’re replacing) I then connected it and downloaded the free cloning software and cloned my HDD to my SSD and after it was done I just turned off the PC and then unplug the SSD from the PC and pretty much just take out the batter and open up the pc. Then you just unscrew the hard drive and replace it with the new SSD connect all the wires that were on the HDD onto the SSD and screw it back on and close up your laptop and it’s done! I turned on my pc and I noticed how significantly faster it was in booting up the system and went to check my disk usage and it went down to >10% usage! It’s only been a couple of days since I bought it and I don’t regret it one bit! I’ll try to remember to comeback and update y’all on how its going weeks later!

Due to the use of TLC flash this drive experiences a significant slowdown once its write cache is full. Significant being 400+MB/S down to about 28 BM/S - about the same speed as a cheap usb memory stick.

Eine sehr gute SSD zu einem vernünftigen Preis.

I installed this particular unit into an older PC Desktop and the performance increase and shorter boot times were noticeable immediately. The most economical way to boost the performance for an older PC that operationally, was just fine, albeit a bit dated. Installation was simple and easy and after transferring the contents of the existing drive onto this one, it was almost like using a brand new, upgraded PC for the user.

Had a Dell laptop from 2016 which was running really slow. Researched and found that the HDD was the bottleneck. So bought this SSD and boy does it deliver! Extremely satisfied, Windows 10 just zips along now. Not worth buying the slightly more expensive MX series for my use case. Would highly recommend crucial to anybody who asks.
