I bought this case to protect my PS Vita when Im not using it. The case itself works fine with the Vita is resting inside it, but inside the case is another story. The flap that will hold your games doesnt keep them very snug, so if you open the case to quickly or if its dropped your games will fall out. There are two straps that hold the PS Vita in place, and the first time I pulled on them to slide the Vita underneath, one of the straps broke. I wasnt even pulling that hard. This isnt a terrible case - Its stll usable even with one broken strap, but if you wanted a really nice Vita case I would suggest you look elsewhere.

For the price this is a solid case. I have once or twice dropped my vita in the zipped case from about waist height and its still in pristine condition. The slimline, however, is a very tight fit in the case, and I removed the elastic straps with an X-ACTO because they had a tendency to push the Vita out of the case when I opened it. Anyways it works fine and the case protects it well. It also has a little flap and a few pockets for game cards and VR cards. Not really enough space for a cable or a peripheral, considering the Vitas proprietary has a power brick (I think you can just use another micro USB cable instead though). Anyway its a fine case and I recommend it.

The CTA Digital Playstation Vita Case is a very compact and slim case which allows for great portability and will not take up any unnecessary carrying space when traveling. The outer case has a nice simple design and texture to it, which is also firm and durable. Within the inside of the case are 4 Slots for games and memory cards and 2 pouches for accessories which are located on a padded divider containing soft lining to protect the screen of the Vita from being damaged. Lastly the bottom of the case which holds the Vita is snug, fitting the shape of the Vita perfectly and contains 2 resilient straps to keep the Vita in place so there is no room for movement when traveling with the device. The only issue I have with the case are the straps that hold the vita in place are right next to the Vitas’ analog sticks making it more difficult than simple to remove the Vita from the case. Everything considered the CTA Digital Playstation Vita Case is slim, protective, made of nice material, is very affordable and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quality case for their playstation Vita. Pros: Price Travel Friendly and Protective Slim and stores more than just the PS Vita itself Cons: Removability (minor issue)

Great case, does exactly what I want it to do which is hold my vita + games. The holders for the chips were not flimsy and actually hold the games pretty well, and you can put it however many games you want in the pocket but just be careful opening the case so they dont fall out. I personally dont use the straps to hold the vita, but its there if you want it. The case is provides a decent amount of protection from normal drops and stuff but dont expect it to take a beating, you should be taking care of your vita anyway. Oh and I dont recommend trying to fit in the entire charger (the original vitas charger), you can put in a wire but if you try to put in the brick youll have a hard time, youre better off putting it in your pocket or another bag. Anyways, Ive actually had this for a while now and its still going strong, as long as youre not looking for anything too fancy and are mainly looking for a convenient lightweight travel case then youll like it.

Iv had this case for a few weeks to hold my vita. I like thew case a lot i had a crystal case for it for the longest time and really just wanted something to put in my pocket. the only thing i didnt like about the case was the two holders that come inside the case to basically keep the vita secure in the case. I was afraid of it taring up my analog sticks. its easy to remove tho. And i rated only 4 stars because nothing in this world is perfect.

Here I have the beautiful well made genious of a device in the PS Vita. But this case leaves some to be desired. The outside looks great..its plain, black and looks like its something well made. Then you unzip it and look inside and its pretty poorly constructed (or maybe i got a defective one) the padding around the edges is all there (except the right side seems to be crushed in and non existant) also, my game card slots stitching completely came unraveled, to the point where i just finished the Inevitable (it was going to fall apart/fall out) so I just removed it with a seem ripper & scissors. So that sucks as I was looking forward to actually using those 4 slots, but i guess not now :-/ If youre being cheap and wanna save some scratch, then $10 isnt a big loss...but id probably reccomend spending $20 and getting something better made. Or, maybe i just got a defective one...I dunno, I would send it back, but its a lot of hassle for a $10 case. Probably ill just find a great case later and either toss this, or give it away. I gave it a 3/5 stars assuming i just got a bad one. My own personal case, more like 2 1/2 out of 5. And mine too stinks of toxic chemicals.

I wanted something that was as compact as possible to protect it when traveling. My only confilct is I also bought the trigger case which must be removed before using the case, and the trigger encasement is a must have. That said this is a great item minus the smell. Its odd. I kept a bar of soap wrapped in a tissue for the first few months when it was not being used, now its fine lol.

I got my Vita for Xmas and wanted to make sure that i did not break it. I searched and I found this bad boy. it was in the price range that i was Willing to spend to protect it. its a good case its pretty sturdy and seems like it will protect my vita well. I do not like how it has two straps inside to hold the Vita and my only problem with them is that they snag on the Joysticks sometimes. i dont use them anymore but the are a good addition for the added safety. I also like how it has slots for me to put my games in and pouches that i presume will hold headphones and other small things. the only thing i dont like about this case is that i cant fit the charging cable inside of it. I realized though that I do keep my laptop around with me and I can just take the USB portion with me all the time which WILL fit in the case and leave the DC distribution box and AC cable at home. =] If your looking for a case Id HIGHLY recommend this one. One more thing i wish that it had two caribiners or better yet M.U.L.E. straps so I can strap it to my USMC Day pack securely. Other then that. 9.8/10

Yes, it holds my PS Vita Slim and protects it, but thats it. If thats all youre looking for then this case is for you. The shell of this case ridged but flexible. Feels like it will protect your system just fine from a 3 foot drop. However, if something heavy were to hit it directly center, I would be a little worried. Build quality feels and looks good. Even comes with a small carabiner if the urge strikes you to take your Vita with you rock climbing... As for space, theres enough for your Vita, a USB charging cable (for the Vita Slim), but not the AC adapter. The reason for not getting more stars, and 3 might be too generous, is that the four pockets that are supposed to hold your extra games are sewn shut along the top. Theyre useless. There are two larger mesh pockets, but they dont hold the small Vita games very well. When I open the case my physical games will fall out. All in all, very basic case. Pros: -Hold PS Vita Slim securely in place. -Protects from bumps and scrapes. Cons: -Game card holders are sewn shut along the top. Cant be used. -Not much space for other items like AC Adapter.

If you have a Vita, its worth it to put that baby in some sort of case. This case fits the bill nicely. The case itself is very strong and sturdy. I would have no worries about throwing it into a backpack, which is not the case if my Vita was naked. It comes with a pretty nice clip so you can just attach it to the outside of a bag or something. The elastic straps are a nice addition and hold it very snug when its not in use. They seem to be very well attached as well. When the case is zipped close the screen is protected by the accessories pocket, so it would have to take a VERY hard hit to cause any damage. There is room for four game cards, your charging cables and a set of earbuds. Everything you need! In closing, yes, you could pony up and get the official Sony case. However, with the money saved (about $30) I bought some games off the PS Store. Kind of a no brainer if you ask me.
