> 3 dayGood protective case for your vita. Quality is acceptable, place for game storage and regular earbuds. Also non bulky. There isnt room for a charger, Bluetooth earbuds and ,at my age, I need reading glasses and cant get them to fit in here. That however is not a problem because, that would make it bulky. The elastic that holds the vita in place is probably unnecessary. It would be nice to be able to play with the system in a cover of some kind without having to remove it, but this is the next best thing It works well, 9.99 is definitely a good price too, I cant imagine you will find something better for that price.

> 3 dayI can store up to 4 game cards inside it (in the flap it has inside) and it also has a little mesh bag to store other games (thats what I am going to do at least) The outside of the case feels soft tothe touch and the inside is also soft. No risk of scratching your PS Vita. It has 2 elastic straps that makes it even more secure. Someone said you can play with your vita inside this case, that is true to some extent... but if you need the bumpers or the back touch screen then you wont be able to use it (Frobisher Says and Mod Nation are 2 games that I have that cant be played while the console is inside the case) The construction feels solid and protective. I havent tested it... Im not crazy, but I trust it enough to throw it inside my backpack without worrying that my pens are going to scratch the screen or that the weight of the ASUS ROG is going to crush it. If youre looking for an inexpensive and solid case, I recommend this. 5/5 stars

Greater than one weekIt does an alright job at protecting my PS Vita. The exterior is quite tough and I dont worry about it damaging the Vita while its inside, but its somewhat of a hassle taking the Vita out of it. There are elastic straps that you can wrap around your Vita on the bottom portion of the case, but it makes it far too cumbersome to remove your Vita while its in there, and its not like its going to slide around that much anyway. The top flap can hold up to four game cards or memory cards, but its impossible to see which one is which and they dont fit in terribly well. Its still better than nothing, though.

> 3 dayOK, so assuming you get the right case from Amazon (it should be all black, with no graphics anywhere), this is a really nice case. I got the right one delivered March 14, so hopefully that situation is resolved! 1.) It doesnt smell at all. Im not sure why some peoples cases are smelling bad, but I have a really sensitive schnoz and I smell nothing. Which was surprising to me, since I was ready for the worst! 2.) It fits the Vita perfectly, and theres a little barrier between the zippers and the system so you wont be scratching your Vita up. But... 3.) The elastic straps are HORRIBLE! Absolutely the worst. It made it a small nuisance to get the Vita into the case, and a right nightmare to get it out. However, I just took a pair of scissors and snipped the elastic parts off and problem solved! No issues now, and you cannot tell the elastic was ever there in any way, shape or form. 4.) The build quality could be a bit better. I had to cut a few threads off, and the game slots arent super-high quality. But they do the job. Overall, the key thing is your Vita is well protected, and for how cheap this case is you really are getting something that works. And thats more than can be said for Sonys own travel pouch which is a flimsy nightmare and double the price... 4 stars out of 5.

> 3 dayThis is a nice enough case for your Vita. Its not quite a hardshell but it isnt soft either – I dont hesitate to throw it into my backpack loose with other items. There is a little fold out divider and pockets for a few games but there isnt quite enough room to fit the (admittedly, pretty big) Vita power adapter. You could probably fit just the USB cable, but Id prefer a case that would hold everything.

> 3 dayThe case is sturdy but not 100% rigid. Theres a bit of give on the top. I always carry a soft cloth for my Vitas so suggest keeping it folded on top of screen inside case. As you can see from my photos, both Vita models fit inside! Its clearly designed for the newer 2000 Slim model, but the older 1000 model fits too due to the extra space at the top. There are basic slots/pouches for keeping mem and game cards. The case comes with a clip for fitting a strap or lanyard. The only minor design flaw are the straps - getting your Vita out is a bit fiddly, pulling them aside.

> 3 dayI only use it to hold my Vita. I buy games digitally so its all in my memory card rather than having to worry about storing cartridges but the place holders for them feel snug and secure. I dropped it on the floor with my Vita in it once and it protected my Vita just fine. I like that the case comes with a belt loop attachment so i can hook it up to my pants and my Vita is right there.

> 3 dayTried Frebreze, that didnt do much, tried just airing it out, nada, put a dryer sheet in it and that sorta worked actually, but soaking it in the sink with dish soap for a whole day really seems to have worked. It smells like soap now, and maybe that heinous stench is still there, but its certainly masked to the point where it smells good-to-odd instead of outright bad. It was a very weird smell whatever it was, nothing like new shoes or whatever, was really pungent and foul. The pockets for the games were sewn shut on the wrong end based on the pictures, but you can still get games in them. Not sure if theyre secure or not since I only have one physical game at the moment, but it seems like itll work. I havent cut the elastic bands out yet, but they dont seem necessary; I havent used them but I think removing them might cause the Vita to slide around a bit inside. If it wasnt for the smell I wouldve given it 4 stars, and then 5 if the game pockets werent sewn in wrong. Its the kind of thing that some people seemed to have really lucked out on.

> 3 dayYes, it holds my PS Vita Slim and protects it, but thats it. If thats all youre looking for then this case is for you. The shell of this case ridged but flexible. Feels like it will protect your system just fine from a 3 foot drop. However, if something heavy were to hit it directly center, I would be a little worried. Build quality feels and looks good. Even comes with a small carabiner if the urge strikes you to take your Vita with you rock climbing... As for space, theres enough for your Vita, a USB charging cable (for the Vita Slim), but not the AC adapter. The reason for not getting more stars, and 3 might be too generous, is that the four pockets that are supposed to hold your extra games are sewn shut along the top. Theyre useless. There are two larger mesh pockets, but they dont hold the small Vita games very well. When I open the case my physical games will fall out. All in all, very basic case. Pros: -Hold PS Vita Slim securely in place. -Protects from bumps and scrapes. Cons: -Game card holders are sewn shut along the top. Cant be used. -Not much space for other items like AC Adapter.

Greater than one weekIts generally a good case; nothing too fancy. Fits the Vita 2000/slim well, is fairly sturdy, and at a decent price. The inside straps arent very useful, as its very difficult to get the Vita in/out of them, but they also arent necessary. The downside: a STRONG chemical smell. I saw other reviews mention it before buying, but figured it wasnt a big deal. However, after multiple dryer sheets and liberal use of febreeze, the smell is still there. It even clings to the Vita itself for quite a while after removing it from the case. Its not the end of the world, but is bothersome enough to make me consider another case.
