> 3 dayI bought this case for the sole purpose of protecting my vita during transport, and I believe it fulfills that requirement very well. It is a very sturdy case and has a little additional room to store 4 games and the USB cord. I read that some people did not like the elastic straps and I fully expected to cut them out when I received the product. However, I ended up liking them and felt they did a great job securing my Vita and preventing it from shaking around in the case. For me the only negative aspect to the case is that it can really only hold the USB cord and not the AC adapter/power cord. However since my only requirement when buying the case was that it be sturdy, I gave it 5 stars.

> 3 dayPlenty has been said already but I thought I would chime in with my experience. I like to take my handhelds with me as I travel but I also like to travel light. I dont need a case that I can pack 20 games, the charger and a can opener. This case is very sturdy and is very form fitting for the Vita. The system fits very snug in the bottom of the case and there is a piece of fabric that sits between the top and bottom of the case. This flap has 4 slots that are perfect size for additional Vita games. My only gripe here is that due to the small size of the Vita game cartridges there is the possibility of the games falling out of these slots. There isnt a whole lot of room between this fabric and the top of the case, but you could probably fit your charging USB cable there. I give this case a solid 4 1/2 stars, with the only downside being that the space set aside for game cartridges doesnt always seem secure for me, and it is not possible to identify the games without pulling them out (some sort of transparent cover of this section would have solved this issue). The case is very sturdy and very attractive and is by far the best Vita case out there.

Greater than one weekThe case is really sturdy and it holds the vita very well. It will definitely survive a moderately far drop without any kind of damage. The only thing I dislike about it, is that the elastic inside that is supposed to hold the vita is annoying as it grabs the joy stick when you try to remove the vita. I avoid this by just placing the vita on top of the elastic bands. Also the netting that is on the flap is pretty small, not really suitable for anything other than a pair of ear buds. There is also 4 game cartridge slots on the flap that hold the game cartridges in place nice and tight so there is no chance theyll fall out when opening. Other than that its a great alternative to the rocketfish hard plastic case that wasnt in stock at the time of purchase.

> 3 dayThe case feels sturdy and it can withstand a fall (I have dropped it once, onto concrete, and everything inside was fine). I havent had any trouble with the straps. They hold the Vita in nicely, and its easy to pull them up and over the sticks to slide them off and pull the Vita out. I havent considered cutting them off because they seem to work as intended and they dont cause me any problems at all. Though it only has slots for five games, the panel that holds the games doesnt tend to fall open when the case is opened and it has some extra pouch space in the flap. Ive been able to tuck five more games in there without worrying about them falling out or moving around much. My case didnt have a weird or strong smell, as others have reported, so Im guessing either the problem has been addressed or it was only a problem with certain lots. Even if I bury my nose in it, I only detect a faint plastic-y smell- nothing that I would ever notice unless I was looking for it. All in all, Im very pleased with the case, and especially with the price. The case also allows you to go incognito, since it doesnt have giant Vita or PS lettering on the sides- one of the reasons I tend to look for aftermarket or third-party cases for almost everything.

> 3 dayI GIVE IT A 4 BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO DO WHAT I NEED IT FOR. THE REASON 4 & NOT 5, BECAUSE ITS ZIPPER & CLIP DO NOT COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER.MY PS VITA SLIPPED OUT DUE TO THE CLIP BEING ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ZIPPER CAUSING ME TO QUICKLY USE MY FOOT TO STOP IT FROM HITTING THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIR CASE BY SLIDING IT ONTO A STEP, MY NEGLIGENCE I MUST ADMIT WAS NOT ZIPPING IT ALL THE WAY SHUT, BUT THAT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE PROBLEM IF THE CLIP WAS WERE THE ZIPPER CLOSED ALL THE WAY UP INSTEAD OF UPSIDE DOWN. I HOPE THAT HELPS ANYONE OUT, IT SEEMS SOLID & STURDY. I HAD IT FOR ALMOST A MONTH. INSIDES OKAY ENOUGH TO FIT 2 PS VITAs OR PSPs. REMEMBER TO VACUUM INSIDE GETS RATHER LINTY. GOOD FEEL,NOT BAD STITCH WORK ON MINE, CANT HELP BUT FEEL LIKE THE GAME POUCHES SHOULD HAVE BUTTON SNAPS TO CLOSE IT THOUGH..JUST TO BE SAFE,GAME POUCHES FEEL CHEAP LIKE AN EVERLAST MMA GLOVE,BUT I DONT BOTHER WITH IT MUCH ANYWAYS. BE VERY! CAREFUL WHEN EXTRACTING THE PS VITA BECAUSE OF THE STRAPS YOUR LEFT & RIGHT JOYSTICKS WILL! GET CAUGHT ON THEM..A QUICK WARNING,THEY HOLD IT VERY WELL..EVEN WHEN EXTRACTING THE VITA AS WELL. SEEMS LIKE THIS CASE IS JUST FINE (FOR NOW) ONLY TIME WILL TELL, BUT I LIKE IT, USE TO USE AN OLD WINTER HAT AS A COVER FOR MY PSPs(LENGTHY REVIEW I KNOW,BUT HEY, YOUR WELCOME)CHEERS.

> 3 dayNot a bad case for the price. The hard shell seems like it would protect my Vita in case I dropped it, but the case has a weird smell to it. It gave me a headache, so the plan is to let it set in the garage for a few days to see if the scent dissipates. Ill update this review if it remains a problem.

Greater than one weekI bought this case to protect my PS Vita when Im not using it. The case itself works fine with the Vita is resting inside it, but inside the case is another story. The flap that will hold your games doesnt keep them very snug, so if you open the case to quickly or if its dropped your games will fall out. There are two straps that hold the PS Vita in place, and the first time I pulled on them to slide the Vita underneath, one of the straps broke. I wasnt even pulling that hard. This isnt a terrible case - Its stll usable even with one broken strap, but if you wanted a really nice Vita case I would suggest you look elsewhere.

> 3 dayPros: *Easy to use and get started *Runs relatively fast *You can download games when connected to the internet Cons: *The internet does not work at locations where you need to sign in or agree to user terms (hotels, starbucks, etc) *Holding the device is not comfortable after a few hours *The Playstation network and login is silly and overly complex

> 3 dayFor the price this is a solid case. I have once or twice dropped my vita in the zipped case from about waist height and its still in pristine condition. The slimline, however, is a very tight fit in the case, and I removed the elastic straps with an X-ACTO because they had a tendency to push the Vita out of the case when I opened it. Anyways it works fine and the case protects it well. It also has a little flap and a few pockets for game cards and VR cards. Not really enough space for a cable or a peripheral, considering the Vitas proprietary has a power brick (I think you can just use another micro USB cable instead though). Anyway its a fine case and I recommend it.

> 3 dayTried Frebreze, that didnt do much, tried just airing it out, nada, put a dryer sheet in it and that sorta worked actually, but soaking it in the sink with dish soap for a whole day really seems to have worked. It smells like soap now, and maybe that heinous stench is still there, but its certainly masked to the point where it smells good-to-odd instead of outright bad. It was a very weird smell whatever it was, nothing like new shoes or whatever, was really pungent and foul. The pockets for the games were sewn shut on the wrong end based on the pictures, but you can still get games in them. Not sure if theyre secure or not since I only have one physical game at the moment, but it seems like itll work. I havent cut the elastic bands out yet, but they dont seem necessary; I havent used them but I think removing them might cause the Vita to slide around a bit inside. If it wasnt for the smell I wouldve given it 4 stars, and then 5 if the game pockets werent sewn in wrong. Its the kind of thing that some people seemed to have really lucked out on.
