> 24 hourWhy would CTEK allow the extension to be made from such low grade wire? This component demeans the CTEK line-for the sake of pennies. Imagine the behavior of cheap line in cold temps.

> 24 hourit makes it longer so you can plug it in more conveniently. exactly as you would expect. both ends water sealed just as the others so you can plug it in outside and trust it wont short out. i would argue 1 of these should come in the kit, but its all good still a great product

> 24 hourMy charger sits next to my car and theres times I need a 12 volt plug and I dont want to use my car battery. I have an RV battery being trickle charged so I just use this cord and it works great. Highly recomended.

> 24 hourIt’s a must have adapter for longer extension run to hook up to the ctek charger. This adds an additional 10 feet for those hard to reach wall charger hook up.

> 24 hourCtek battery maintainers are a must have if you store a summer ride. The extension plug allows flexibility in where you place the unit. Most people that I know that use one do not want to store the unit on the car in case it were to malfunction and heat up. The extension cord is built with the same standard for quality.

> 24 hourI expected the same wire for this extension as the wiring on the CTEK unit. It is no, it is more rigid than my 7002. The 7002 also uses 16awg and the extension is 18awg, disappointed in that as well!
