> 24 hourIm rather late reviewing these clips as I purchased them before Christmas to use for outside lights and its now the beginning of March. However, they were ideal for attaching a net of lights to the gutter for the front of the house. The clips were very sturdy and held the lights in place. Im not sure which way around I was supposed to place them so I used most with the hook over the gutter and a few the other way around as this clip held very firmly and wouldnt allow the lights to be moved in any windy weather. I would point out two things: 1) the clip end with the teeth is very firm and you need to be careful with the wires of the any lights in case you damage them. Next year I shall probably put tape around those sections of wire to protect them; and 2) Am not sure what the clips are made of but they did start to rust a little by the time I removed them - probably outside for a month. They are still usable but just wanted to point out that they are not rust proof.

> 24 hourThese clips work well and are easy to hang the lights with on the shingles and gutters however after 1 week they have all started to rust. Not sure if they will be functional for next year with the amount of rust that is developing

> 24 hourI ordered these based on the picture of the thick cord patio lights. This is misleading. Therefore I am returning these as they are TINY as you can see next to my small hands and finger nails. These are perfect to hold Fairy Lights and maybe even indoor Christmas lights. That’s about it. They are not big enough, nor sturdy enough for Patio String Lights. Hope this review helps!!

> 24 hourI used thes to hang string lights around my deck. I preferred the lights to be hing under the soffit to help protect them from rain. The claw grip allowede to grab onto the metal bracing on the underside of the soffit. I do feel like a flat surface would have worked better, but so far so good. Ive had my lights up 3 days and had 2 days of heavy rain and moderate winds. Lights are still up and look to be holding in place

> 24 hourVery flimsy and poor quality. Several bent out of shape and became useless immediately after attaching them to lights.
