> 3 dayI used thes to hang string lights around my deck. I preferred the lights to be hing under the soffit to help protect them from rain. The claw grip allowede to grab onto the metal bracing on the underside of the soffit. I do feel like a flat surface would have worked better, but so far so good. Ive had my lights up 3 days and had 2 days of heavy rain and moderate winds. Lights are still up and look to be holding in place
