Sorry David, these clips work perfectly for Xmas lights outside. I have used them on metal gutters. Ideal. Swap them around and they would work equally well on plastic gutters. And for many other tasks. Like another reviewer, I have just ordered some more for ‘’stock’’.

Got these for wedding decor. Worked out great. Definitely recommend if hanging things from ceiling at a hall.

I ordered these based on the picture of the thick cord patio lights. This is misleading. Therefore I am returning these as they are TINY as you can see next to my small hands and finger nails. These are perfect to hold Fairy Lights and maybe even indoor Christmas lights. That’s about it. They are not big enough, nor sturdy enough for Patio String Lights. Hope this review helps!!

I thought the clips and hooks are big enough to install on my gutter. When it arrived, it was too small. I am expecting the same size with clip-on clothes, but this one is only half the size or even smaller.

I foolishly ordered by the photo and should have read the measurements. The photo is very misleading. I wonder how many other people got fooled by the photo. Very annoyed. The description said fits a shower curtain. Not! Be aware and read the measurements. Dont go by the photo.

Perfect for my patio lights

Bought these to hang lights off of our courtyard gutters for a wedding and wanted something nicer looking than plastic. When these arrived I was surprised how small they were but they worked perfectly. The s hook grabbed onto the gutters really well and the jaws of the clips are strong, held everything in place even with some wind. Plan on buying these again, lots of other uses for them!

I used thes to hang string lights around my deck. I preferred the lights to be hing under the soffit to help protect them from rain. The claw grip allowede to grab onto the metal bracing on the underside of the soffit. I do feel like a flat surface would have worked better, but so far so good. Ive had my lights up 3 days and had 2 days of heavy rain and moderate winds. Lights are still up and look to be holding in place
