> 3 dayDaniel Smith is one of my favorite brands of Watercolors! This Naples Yellow is a soft warm yellow that is reminiscent of wheat or sunflowers. This shade definitely makes me think of summer. This Naples Yellow has an excellent light fast rating, is semi-transparent and non staining and non granulating watercolor. These tubes are very good value for money, and the pigments are highly concentrated. I use them to refill pans and after setting they always re-wet easily. Daniel Smith offer some unusual and unique pigments, particularly the primatek range - lunar black is wondeful. I also love the distinctive blends of Undersea Green, Moonglow and Hematite Genuine which provide some unique characteristics useful for texture and atmospheric techniques.

> 3 dayThe color is beautiful, however, the tube seems to have already been used. There was dried paint on the rim and a plug of dried paint in the opening that made it hard to squeeze out.

> 3 dayBloodstone is a beautiful warm deep brown color with lovely granulation. It’s an amazingly useful color. Rewetting the dried pigment is very easy, and this color is fairly intense without needing much water. Some Primatek colors take a lot of effort to rewet and get much vibrancy from them. Bloodstone is not one of them.

> 3 daythe tube had a huge air bubble in it and only was about half full. For being such expensive paints I was really disappointed by this.
