Great colour, transparent when thin.

Extra fine watercolor is very correct in naming this brand. I love this. I would love every color of this brand in my watercolor collection!

The product was advertised as containing pigment PO49, however the tube that I received is formulated with PO48 instead. I bought this product specifically because it was supposed to contain PO49, a pigment unique to Daniel Smith. Im very disappointed that I received a tube with a formula that was different than advertised. It contains the same pigments used in the regular Daniel Smith Quinacridone Gold (PO48 and PY150). Its still a beautiful color, but if you are looking for the proprietary pigment PO49 (as advertised), this tube does not contain it.

Love Daniel Smith, and unlike the secondary package I ordered, this one arrived as advertised.

I have purchased both the Schminke brand as well as WN, American Journey and Daniel Smith. I think if you are a professional you have the ability to sense distinct differences. I am not a pro with watercolor - but i really don’t find anything lacking in Daniel Smith watercolor. I love this particular color - Quin Coral - it is vibrant and lots of tinting strength. You can’t go wrong

Brilliant color! You can use this in so many objects.

A good rich color for landscapes. So smooth and it stays fresh a really long time.

I use a lot of Daniel Smith watercolors so this was a re-order. I use Quinocridone for my warm red in a dual primary system.
