I often make things that need power, the latest thing was a DYI LED work light that hangs under a hood while you do work. I have several power supplies that have ends but often create makeshift connections. These ends work great to connect projects to existing power supplies. I like the quick connect ends and they hold the wires nicely.

This product makes it easy to hook up your cat5e to a home security system. The only thing I dont like is the wire is so brittle when you move it around a little bit the wire breaks often and very easy. I am now going to use a different product and just make network cables for the ends. Great Idea just not for me.

Use these with my cat 6 cable and old analog cameras. When I change to a digital system , wont have to pull new cable.

Worked perfect

I repurposed a worn out 16 awg stranded extension cord into a dc barrel jack extension cable and it works great. the two screws can be tightened to bite down on the wires for a strong connection. I also made a short cable for a 12v dc load tester to test the connector and hit the circuitry wattage limit. these connectors did 9 amps or around 100 watts continuous. A box has 10 pairs 10 male 10 female. just remember to get the negative/positive polarity correct or check with a dc multi meter.

Initially thought these were decent, but one had a short and nearly started a fire.

Work perfect for my application

I am very pleased with this set of M-F 5.5 x 2.1mm barrel connectors. I was always needing one or two and now I have a nice set of 10 each! I recommend this product.

I liked the connection of the power cable for the connection of the video cameras made it an easy installation.

The connections are simple and as long as you are not pulling on them or moving too much the wires will stay in place. This worked out well for the project they are needed for.
