We started with another brand of drops and it was so painful to have to give my infant 1 ml everyday. These drops are fantastic! If breastfeeding, you can place the drop on your nipple, otherwise I’ve also just put a drop directly into my babe’s mouth. I have not have any issues with it being hard to only dispense one drop, but have found that the one drop is a little slow to come out.

I have been using this Ddrops for my LO since day 1. My daughter is 15mo now and she is well developing. I will still continue to buy this for her as her pediatrician recommended. My daughter does not have any difficulties when taking these drops at all even though she is scared of taking medicines or anything else other than food. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The only problem that we have is we have to buy at least 2 of them at a time because I feel like the bottle is too small that it is running out too fast.

Initially, because Im a breastfeeding mom, my doctor recommended Di-V-Sol. It was syrupy and disgusting. My daughter hated it and nothing I tried prevented her from spitting it out, creating a sticky mess all over her face, neck and fingers. I switched to this with my pediatricians blessing. The important thing to remember, and the reason I think more pediatricians dont recommend this, is that unlike the Di-V-Sol, where an entire dropper is one dosage, with these, just one drop is the dosage, so its important not to give your child too much. Its best to just put a single drop on your finger or nipple, and then putting your finger or nipple in your childs mouth, rather than dropping it directly into your childs mouth. As long as you do that, theres really no reason to go through the hassle of administering an entire 1ml syringe of Di-V-Sol.

Our doctor sent in a prescription to our pharmacy for some infant oral vitamin d that was total garbage (one dose was a huge amount for her at 1ml, full of preservatives, vitamin d was 8th on the list of ingredients, and it contained butterscotch flavoring... yuck). I felt terrible at the idea of giving something with artificial flavoring in it to my exclusively breastfed 3w old infant, and shocked those would be prescribed by our dr. After hearing other parents recommendations, and what their pediatricians recommended, I decided to order these. These drops pretty much taste and smell like nothing, only require one tiny drop, and have just 2 straightforward ingredients! Only downside is that the dropper can be kind of tricky for my partner and he sometimes accidentally does more than one drop and has to start a new bottle (I find it easy to get one drop because the dropper is similar to essential oil bottles Ive used). Ill save the other drops with flavoring in them for when my baby is over 6mos, and Ill definitely be reordering these.

We got this brand of vitamin D drops as a sample from our pediatrician and the baby likes them, so we got the full-sized bottle. The drip top of this bottle is easy to use (easier than the sample), and isn’t messy. The drops are flavorless (to me), and our baby likes them and doesn’t have any trouble with excess gas or upset tummy from them.

I’m not sure if they work because we haven’t had my baby’s vitamin D checked, but it is easy enough to use. My son actually loves to take the bottle around with him (10 months old) which is an aside, but very cute. I do wish it dropped out faster, but I understand the speed is standard for the dispensers design.

I’m hoping the quality is good but my infant has yet to articulate its efficacy to me. However, it does seem a little unnecessarily hard to get out of the bottle, but not impossible.

    Greater than one week

Very easy to dispense into a bottle - turning over to drop in a single drop is far faster than the eyedroppers used to measure out a mL of tri-vi-sol. Also seems convenient to be able to give via a finger or on breast if wish to go that route. Really appreciated the minimal ingredients. Lasted us for about 3 months, as advertised. Sometimes the drops came in rapid succession and Id lose a dosage or accidentally administer more than one dose. Pediatrician assured me that it was fine for our child when I voiced my concern - noting that the dose wasnt so high as to cause any overdosing issues.
