Greater than one weekThis is kind of basic, but it works really well so far. If you get a red light when you first plug it in and it wont turn on, check the box for parts, somehow I missed the top to the water tank and it wont start without it. Other than that, it works well in my small bathroom that has little ventilation. I paired it with a basic thermometer that has the humidity so I can see the humidity go up and then down with this. Also tank fills with water dripping down while its on. So I can verify this works. (I was worried about that because a lot of people have reviewed dehumidifiers as not working). I will say the only limitation is that this is not for the sq footage they said it is, and is really only effective in a small bathroom. Thats ok because the main source of humidity is from the shower anyways. My steps is that I turn it on with the bathroom fan, room still fogs up (because I like it hot! haha), then I continue to run it while I get ready. It definitely defogs the mirror faster, but it takes time and the noise level is rather low even on the high setting. In my opinion this is worth it if you have a small space and high humidity when you shower. 8.5/10.

> 3 dayBought this to purify the air in my bedroom after finding out I have allergies to certain pollens. Not only has it made a noticeable different in the air quality, but it’s also helps keep my room odor free! Def recommend this item. My bedroom is 200sq ft and this purifier is totally effective for my bedroom’s size

> 3 dayIve had this for quite awhile now and before I got this (we dont have a fan in the bathroom) mold would start growing on the ceiling from lack of not drying out completely. However now we dont get mold in there. It works wonderful and have no regrets on this purchase

Greater than one weekUpdated Comment: Customer Service has been great in reaching out to assist me with my issues and I applaud that. I am expecting a new unit and will update again once I get it up and running. Old Comment: I was really happy with the performance of this model as far as reducing moisture. It was used in a bathroom and noise level was not an issue and I paid no attention and dont remember it being too loud. I got it in September and by January, it starting making strange noises. It stopped working and then started up again and now does not work. I did not run it 24/7. Just when shower was being used or clothes being dried.

> 3 dayThere were two consecutive nights in September that were perfectly cool and breezy. It’s not often that the evening is just right to open all the windows and let the night air in. I did notice it was humid but not at all hot or even warm. So all the windows were opened up and the whole house exhaust fan turned on to really pull in that cool air. For two mornings the fog was pea soup. Still didn’t occur for me to think about those floors and the air being so moisture-laden you could wring it out. We could feel the new floors cupping, crowning and bowing! Pure panic set in. I quickly ordered this great little dehumidifier and it did its job. Sucking the moisture out of the bedroom floors. It’s been several weeks and it is still extracting moisture. It has diminished over time and the floors are still a trifle out of sorts but vastly improved! The room is about 300 sq feet and I have moved the unit a few times to help evenly remove the humidity. Not sure if that helped but it certainly didn’t hurt. The unit has a gentle hum which isn’t the least unpleasant. It looks nice and is relatively unobtrusive. Easy to empty.

> 3 dayWhen I first got this dehumidifier, I was surprised how little it was. But I loved that it was inconspicuous. It pulls out tons of moisture for a little machine. Runs relatively quiet in high speed and nearly noiseless on low speed. Unfortunately (now that I’m passed my return date) if I turn the machine off, when I turn it back on the fan makes a horrible sound and it doesn’t help to change the fan speed. I have gotten it to stop by shaking it for several minutes while it’s running, so clearly something is amiss inside. If I could exchange it for the same unit I would give this one another go because once I get the fan going without that horrible noise it’s a powerful little machine. UPDATE… vendor saw my post here and reached out to me, unsolicited, offered a full refund or replacement. I opted for the replacement but was skeptical thinking it could have been spam. To my surprise my new unit came today. In transparency they did ask that I update my review and contemplate changing my star rating from a 3 to a 5. I did that due to the unexpected customer service. Hopefully the new unit will last longer than my original purchase.
