So apparently Windows 11 S Mode ONLY allows you to download from the Microsoft app store. And the way to turn this off doesnt even show up properly, so you cant turn it off the way its normally done. I had to do it in another way and thats still not working. Turning on dev mode also does not work. Piece of junk. About to return it. I purposely bought this because it was available quickly, because I needed it for work, and now Ive wasted a week, because I cant even get it to work.

This is our sixth Dell computer but the first that wasnt great out of the box. We ended up taking it in to the local Geek Squad because it could not boot up. The technician told us the hard drive was no good and that it wasnt the first they have seen to have this problem. (He called it a D2 drive.) His guess was that Dell sources hard drives from multiple vendors and one of those vendors had some bad drives. Whatever. Sad that I can no longer trust Dell. Returned the unit and awaiting refund.

This laptop has more problems everyday. From windows didnt load right, open office files vanish, screen resolution keeps changing size on its own. If all of these issues happened when I first got this laptop I would have sent it back. Unfortunately the return window has closed. Now Im stuck with a 2 month old piece of crap.

Looks like, Seller has sold me a Defective Item, in the guise of Better Price and Faster Shipment , coz, Sound system is so much worst that, I can hardly any Sound from the YouTube, even after selecting High Volume in both YouTube and in Laptop , inspite of using High Quality Sony Head Phones. My Previous Laptop which is also of Dell, is of extra-ordinary quality with the very Sound system, as the Sound system is extra-ordinary and I dont have even to use the Head Phones, for regular use and if there are No Privacy issue (i.e. HeadPhones are required, only if I dont want to disturb the surroundings or else, not required). Unfortunately, I cannot Return this Item, as Ive to relocate to different location and during the processs, somehow I disposed the Laptop Box Hence, Kindly Do NOT Purchase any Item from this Seller, as they send the Defective Item. Unfortunately, Amazon is becoming a Place to sell the Fake/Detective Items. As a result, we need to be very careful/cautious to select the right/trust worth Platforms to purchase any item and not the unworthy platform like Amazon (which is the breeding place for fake products).

My new Dell computer got delivered in just a few days. I was very pleased and excited too finally have my new laptop.

The reviews about the screen are clearly founded. The hinges are very tight! That being said I am being careful of how I open the lid and on the surfaces I open it on. So far so good. The touch screen works great. The real down side is that this exact model does not have a backlit keyboard. It is quick on its feet and handles multi tasking with flying colors.

The left hinge broke within three months of purchase. The design will have issues after repetitive opening and closing on a table as the lid rotates lower than the base of the laptop. Poor design.
