> 3 dayOverall this monitor is ideal for open world or singleplayer games. Obviously you can play competitive shooters on it like I do, but sometimes you can notice some smearing in dark on bright settings. Set to 80% brightness, the second-fastest response time, and freesync enabled, this monitor is simply fantastic. Controls are intuitive, it gets very bright, and the picture is simply lovely. Especially for singleplayer games. You really get immersed Obviously this monitor is BIG. Dimensionally the panel is about 32 wide, 15 tall, and the stand takes up about 11 of desk space. It is height and tilt adjustable, both pitch and roll Its a great buy for 450$, what I paid for it, but ive seen sales for this monitor as low as 380$. For that price, its a fabulous deal and a purchase you wouldnt regret Bonus points for the joystick control on the back. Way easier and more intuitive than buttons

> 3 dayReplacing a 42-inch 2K Fire TV that I used as monitor. I am not really a gamer, mostly I use it for work. So far, I regret the decision and its not because of any issue with the monitor (maybe one ... more on that later). I thought the Ultrawide would allow me to work more effectively .... however, its much smaller than to old TV. I used to be able to work without my readers. The type face on this is so small, I need to wear readers. If I expand the font, then the lack of space become apparent. It appears to be a nice piece of equipment, but the simple fact is that did not know what I was buying in to. The only issue, this is an ultra0wide and very modern. I work from home and use my companys Dell laptop. The driver loaded is for generic monitors and it does not recognize the wide aspect. Getting the driver has been a bit of a pain. It will happen but something to think about if you are going this route. In any case I own it now and need to make it work. Will update here as I go forward.

> 3 dayI bought this to use for gaming as I recently updated my graphics card and wanted to game at 1440p and use the higher refresh rate of this unit. I wish it had HDR support but for the money that I paid, can not complain. Would recommend this monitor if you are upgrading from a 24 60Hz 1080p monitor like myself.

Greater than one weekThe monitor has been performed well. The problem is that 1920x1080 is not high enough resolution. I can see where pixels look blocky versus seamless. Over time your eyes adjust and you dont notice as much, but it was very frustrating going from high resolution to low resolution just because the monitor is larger. My 27 had higher resolution. Frustrating enough that after six months I will be buying a different monitor.

> 3 dayWhile this monitor is certified FreeSync Premium Pro, if you set it up using the included cables and Dell monitor drivers youll notice that anytime the refresh rate adjusts while gaming intense flickering will occur. After some investigating I found a fix and it is: 1. Purchase an upgraded VESA certified display port 1.4 cable. It seems not all display port 1.4 cables are created equal and since 1440p at 144 hz is near the cables maximum bandwidth, any deviation in quality can result in poor performance and cause flickering. 2. Dont install the drivers supplied by Dell for the monitor, for some reason they mess things up. Instead, just install your AMD video card drivers and the Radeon control center. Also, use the Windows Generic PnP monitor driver thats enabled by default. I think doing so disables HDR, but its a small price to pay in my opinion. Of course, being a VA display its still susceptible to flickering on game menus, loading screens and when framerates drop really low (like 60-70 fps). I also notice flickering on any game that caps the framerate at 60 fps and doesnt let you change it (such as Sim City). But the vast majority of gameplay is flawless (for instance Call of Duty Coldwar with framerates constantly adjusting between 115 - 135 fps). And if you do encounter a game that has lots of flickering (which is unlikely with first person shooters and any other games optimized for high end graphics cards) you can easily disable FreeSync through the Radeon Control center at the touch of a button. Finally, just a note to add, I am using a RX 6900 XT.
