> 3 dayUnfortunately, this monitor suffers from flicker when using variable refresh rate (VRR/FreeSync/G-Sync compatible), which I now know happens with pretty much all VA-type displays, so I had to return it. However, this is still a pretty good monitor. The colors are really nice, and while some VA smearing is noticeable its among the lowest Ive seen with a VA panel. So, there are still cases in which Id recommend it. If you want a curved monitor and dont use VRR, or run games at 100+FPS well above the minimum VRR range, this is pretty decent. If you do need VRR and are running some games are around 60 FPS, which may trigger the flicker, Id recommend getting a flat IPS instead. A side note, the flicker may be less present with AMD GPUs, due to the difference in how low framerate compensation (LFC) works on them.

> 3 dayFirst I will say that Im going off of Prime. The shipping is becoming to problematic with drivers taking hours breaks when youre next in delivery. The guy literally drive past my house and Im still waiting on the replacement to be delivered 5 hours later. This is not the first time this has happened, so were ending Prime as we order mostly tech. We can get this shipped to the Best Buy store or ordered for pickup and waste less time waiting for delivery to avoid stolen packages. That way we can just go get them when were ready, instead of sitting around half the day waiting for a delivery time in flux. Im doubting this will even get delivered tonight, so Im probably going to be doing the same thing tomorrow. --- As for the panel itself. Its a fine build quality. The colors are nice. The brightness is nice. However, the marketing is misleading as you will not get great results if you try to run this panel as Extremely Fast. There will be overshoot. It will be noticeable. So, forget about 1ms G-to-G response times. Youre going to be running 2 at best. My panel had multiple bright pixels in the panel. I had to queue up an exchange immediately. One Im sometimes good with, depending on location, but mine had like 3-4, and with any dark picture on the screen, they become VERY noticeable. The USB ports are a nice touch, and the varied placement is great. Works well with FreeSync and GSync. There are drivers at the Dell Website which installs the correct display profile for Windows. The unit ships with both a DP and HDMI cable. Not sure why they didnt put speakers in them. Sometimes I dont feel like wearing a headset (fatigue, etc.). At this price point... thats a curious omission. EDIT: Replacement monitor arrived with no dead or bright pixels. Household agrees we can let Amazon Prime go and just order our tech for Store Delivery with Best Buy. Allows us to get packages without staying up until 9-10PM when we have to be up for 5-6AM.

Greater than one weekVery nice Monitor with a good picture. I have had some issues with the monitor locking down after sleep mode! Perhaps, I should not have ordered a like new return. Everything was in the box and in good shape but it might have been returned due to my stated issue!

> 3 dayFirst off - this monitor is amazing. BUT when I plugged it in via HDMI from my Lenovo Thinkpad the resolution was unbearable. This is the same problem with any UWS HD monitor especially if you are using it for work (which I am). I searched countless articles and videos on how to resolve and nothing worked but I figured out the solution so Im saving others my pain. First my laptop is corp issued, under powered and locked down to the point that I cant download .exe drivers. To fix the problem I bought a Startech.com Display port adaptor which has a small GPU installed in it to increase the resolution (about $100 on Amazon). Out of the box the Startech solved the problem but I did have to install the Display port driver from Displayport.com, and thankfully display port offers 3 different formats for the driver including .MSI which bypassed my .exe block on my corp computer. The monitor works perfectly and is totally game changing. So if you are stuck trying to drive it with an old or underpowered laptop get yourself the adaptor - was literally plug and play out of the box with the driver install and the monitor is perfect.

> 3 dayAs the headline states I am very impressed with the quality of this thing. The freesync works well with minor flicker if you go out of range but thats with any VA panel. If youre in range with smooth a smooth frame rate the freesync works great. The image quality is amazing, excellent contrast and the brightness is plenty for me measured at some 500 nits on rtings website. The backlight bleed is very minimal so thats crucial for me. It gives a wow effect for sure. Its pretty heavy and bulky so be careful handling this puppy. Its a very solid construct. The base of the stand is heavy which makes me feel like its strong and of quality. It went together like a breeze and when I first started the game I was blown away. Theres a driver to download and install. I did a calibration test through a series of images just eye balling it and it looked spot on perfect. I didnt have to change anything really out of the box. Im not sure if the driver set it up where it needs to be or what but Id suggest the driver on Dells website. Its easy to find on google. Thanks for this amazing product Dell! I sent back that AOC 27 and got this one. This thing is MUCH better but also more expensive.

> 3 dayI had one monitor already for gaming use, but instead I used it more for video editing and music creation, in fact, I liked it so much that I decided to buy another to have dual monitoring capabilities.

> 3 daySo I got this open box after I returned a similar LG monitor with the same specs. Lemme tell ya, this is waaaaay better than the LG monitor. The Lg whined so loudly when the brightness was up. Amazon was unwilling to assist in the matter so I just returned it and bought this one open box. So if youre stuck between the comparable LG and this, GET THIS. It is in great shape, minus 2 screws loose on the inside rolling around making a hck of a noise. I removed those by popping the back panel off on one side to ensure the screen didnt self destruct someday. This is definitely due to the previous owner tampering with it and forgetting to reinsert all of the screws....I feel if Amazon took care of their workers more, things like this wouldnt slip by so much. Have had the worst luck with Amazon orders recently and thats on them, but after removing the screws, this dell monitor is the bees knees. Im willing to take the defective screen on for now. You guys need to do better. This holiday season has been a nightmare here.

> 3 dayThis is my first curved monitor and I like it. I dont use it for games, but it works great for my everyday work station.
