> 24 hourThis monitor did exactly what I needed. I needed a second monitor to view certain documents and applications in portrait mode and this monitor does exactly that. Pretty much every monitor does that actually but you have to find one that has a rotating stand, or, a monitor with VESA mount and you buy a separate stand. So, this is basically a $199 monitor with a rotating stand. Now, the issue I ran into and it took me a while to figure out my solution was getting my Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti to allow me to have 1 monitor running on the single HDMI port and 1 monitor running off the displayport port. You would think this was a no-brainer (and usually is) - just plug them in and off you go. However, mine wasnt working right off the bat. I was getting no signal on the monitor from the displayport on the Nvidia card. Long story short, it turned out certain Nvidia cards (mine is one) needed a firmware update for the displayport to work properly. Once I installed the firmware update (the firmware update is completely separate from the Nvidia drivers package) everything worked like a champ. So, in summary, I give 4 stars to the monitor (nice picture, not totally washed out, sparce on features.) I give 5 stars for the value/cost of the monitor. I purchased at $199 which (from looking around) seemed a good $50-80 cheaper than most vendors who are selling the same Dell Professional line (P monitor) of monitors. I dont know if this is a good gaming monitor by todays standards so if youre looking for that then I suggest moving your monitor budget up around $400. If you need a solid productivity monitor for work/office/etc - this monitor is perfect.

> 24 hourWere all working from home, and I finally broke down and bought a second monitor. This thing is great - huge and bright. Im used to squinting at my little laptop monitor and not fitting all of the spreadsheet on. This is like the size of a desk and everything is so clear. Good purchase, particularly at this price.

> 24 hourReally nice monitors! I got two for work mostly, but I’ve done some light gaming too and they work well for that as well. Really crisp picture, high quality display.

> 24 hourHaving suffered long enough using a small 12 EGA LCD monitor on my old IBM homebuilt compatible, we said enough was enough and after studying the field, chose this unit. The CONS: 1. No Audio 2. No Remote: fight the lower right hand buttons for everything. 3. No AUTO Detect mode despite having an AUTO selection under inputs. More of a DUMB Monitor than not. Navigation is clutsy; changing from VGA input to HDMI input is a hoop stepper which we will have to learn to memorize. 4. Amazons Incognito packaging step did not work. Our monitor arrived with DELL Flags flowing. 5. Not sure if this is a DELL issue or a Windows 10 issue: power saving modes thwart timed UPDATES. Since DELL is the businessmans favorite (offices full of DELLs) you would think the individual machines could update during the night without personal attention. Maybe a GATES Hole or blunder. DUNNO. The Pros 1. 27 inch screen is very helpful and fits the room well. Bright, crisp, enjoyable. 2. Has a 1920 X 1080 display which WIndows sets up nicely. Clear & readable. 3. Responsive for the most part.

> 24 hourI really like this monitor. Its a great size and adjusts lower than most Ive seen. Its a bit bright, but I suspect I could adjust that. Great resolution and display quality for software development and an occasional streamed movie. No complaints.

> 24 houryes, you could upgrade to the Dell U series for far more money, but for the average user / businessperson, the P series are the best value for the money out there, imho. Very nice on the eyes, easy to work with all day, and very accommodating to the average modern computer with USB-C ports, and HDMI outputs are easy to connect to todays laptops. Works great with Macs or PCs, no worries. The Displayports are another matter, these do not easily work with Mac computers, be warned, especially if you are using any form of dock.
