> 3 dayGreat monitor; Id give it five stars if the touchscreen had a matte glass surface instead of plastic. Well see how the plastic holds up over time, but it certainly wont wear as well as glass...

> 3 dayIve had this for about a week and loving it. Hooked up fast, easily, and without issues. Hooked up with the DP and USB cables. Color is accurate out of the box but the screen brightness is just a tad on the dull side. I work in photoshop for graphics work and its suitable but just have to adjust to the lack of brightness by compensating for it in my workflow. Articulating screen works quite well although sometimes moving it moves the weighted base / entire unit out of position on my desk (but just a tad). Its VERY hard to find an all around good touch screen monitor on their own. I would say there are less than a dozen models but some are ancient (released back in 2013 or so) so choices are limited. This is simply because they didnt catch on as a stand alone product when the All in one computers came out with a touch screen monitor included. All in all I give this 4 stars very deservingly. The monitor came with the DP, USB, VGA cables and power cord and the design has cable management design to keep your cables tidy in the back. My only annoyance was first figuring out how to navigate the on screen menu for calibration and settings. Thera re buttons on the bottom edge of the screen bezel for that purpose and it wasnt really clear how to use them for navigating. As it turns out two of them are used to move left and right in the menu system and one is used to move up and down, while one of them helps you exit the menu. Once I figured it out its a breeze to use. One positive is the on / off button is illuminated and located in the same area as the navigation buttons on the right bottom. A bottom location for the on off button assures you wont be touching it while working your touch screen. Smart.

> 3 dayGood monitor. Used in a DAW workstation/recording studio. Make sure your video card has a DP port. this monitor does NOT have a DVI port and the DVI - DP signal conversion boxes are pricey and dont work well, according to reviews (didnt try it). A new video card with a DP port is less expensive than a signal converter. As it is it works fine as a VGA screen. If you want a higher resolution signal check your inputs and outputs.

> 3 dayI have a new Dell G7 15 laptop. I bought this P2418HT to complement it. Sadly you have to use 2 freaking cables (USB and HDMI) for the touch function to work. If you only plug in the USB 3.0 as the setup instructions tell you, it works simply as a monitor with no touch function. Adding the HDMI cable was the only way to get the touch function to work. Ridiculous! Am I the only one having this issue? Anywho...it is beautiful and has great angles for working. The screen is not glass which I prefer as I have it on 2 other touch screens I have. Feels much smoother with glass. Will update if I find a work around to this multiple cable nonsense. Come on Dell!

> 3 dayNormally, touchscreens are pretty pricy. $300 is in my price range in this pandemic. The monitor first was released in 2018. I had no trouble setting up the monitor. The back cover does not work too well to organize the connected cables. The touchscreen is very responsive to the touch. I like the USB 3.0 ports on the right side. I would recommend getting a AC511M soundbar for the monitor. Its a good soundbar for the monitor, but the mounting bracket it comes with may not fit your monitor.

> 3 dayI work with a CAD program on a 15.4 2016 MacBook Pro, so I needed a larger monitor to make work easier. I researched many different monitors from various manufacturers, and finally narrowed it down to 2 from Dell, this one, and the U2415. I like both, but what swung the decision for me was the touch ability of this monitor. This monitor really works, with several connection options, both upstream and downstream. I know, Macs dont support touch, but I was able to get around that with the TOUCHBASE drivers. Their driver package really works, and I have never, ever dealt with a company with better support, even pre sale support. Dave Bhattacharjee is top notch. He gets back to you within the day with any answers to your questions, and thats especially notable given the time zone difference, (TOUCHBASE is located in England). If you have a Mac, and want a screen with touch ability, dont hesitate to go with TOUCHBASE. Their website is very comprehensive, with almost any question you might have addressed there, including a complete list of every touchscreen their software drivers have been tested with. Go for it!
