Love this monitor! Was able to snag it cheaper on Amazon than Dell themselves were offering it. SCORE!

Used as a single external monitor for a Surface Book with Surface Dock and HTML with miniport adapter. Normally run “second screen only” mode to get full benefit of the screen’s real estate. Used for general computer work; a little bit of everything but no specialization. Although the monitor comes with a myriad of settings; none were needed initially or to date. After setting up and turning everything on, it configured itself to my preferences. Resolution, brightness, color, and contrast all met my needs. Touch didn’t even need calibration. The articulated stand does not allow for horizontal screen placement but does allow the bottom to approach the desktop and with a slope that is comfortable to view, draw, and write on. Placing the bottom near my keyboard, my arms no longer tire from reaching for a more conventional touchscreen. For those who plan on placing their monitor similarly, I would not recommend the 27” version; increases vision span and reach. While many criticize Dell’s choice of screen surface, after using it, I quickly became comfortable with the feel of the texture. I really appreciate the matte surface does not become a mirror in a bright room or with sunshine hitting it. I had no issues with brightness as some critics indicate. The capacitive touch system does not accept an active stylus. I have found that I do not even need a cheap stylus for much of what I do on the large screen and rarely resort to using the Surface stylus on the Book screen. While the Surface Book and Dell Monitor combination is not a Surface Studio, it does provide much of that flexibility at a much lower cost.

Touch screen does not work at all. Thus, it is just like a regular monitor. High adjustment does not fit for me. There is no much option to adjust the height.

This monitor lacks the brightness our old dell had. The touchscreen doesn’t work very well for enlarging text. Bought mine from Nspire store who charged me a 15% restocking fee while saying they offer free returns.

I love this screen! I uses it most when working with 3d modules, but there are lots of time that I find being able to tap the screen is useful. The screen is very responsive to touch, and has a pretty decent picture quality. I also enjoy having plenty of USB ports on it.

It works great as a dual monitor connected to my HP Envy x360 laptop. I love being able to quickly jump between both screens via touch. I did have to connect both the HDMI and the USB 3.0 cables and I had it going soon after I downloaded the driver. I highly recommend this screen for its ease of use AND its adjust-ability.

I like this monitor a lot. The touch is really easy to use, having transitioned from non-touchscreen. The only thing I dont like this that images appear darker than I think they should be. I have adjusted the brightness and it doesnt seem to be any different. I may need to see if I am not quite doing it right, but I think I am. Nonetheless, for someone looking for a touchscreen, this is a nice one. -review written by Marlene K, not Jim K as mentioned.

If you are working in an office environment, I suggest you use this display for all of your displays. By that, I mean, if you wan ta dual display setup, use to of these. It is annoying as heck to have three monitors and only one of them being touch enabled. You really do want to reach out and tap those other screens and its incredibly frustrating. That said, I dont know if multiple touch screen monitors will work well together. As it is, with a 3 dell screen display I had to make the touch screen primary in order to get it to work. Otherwise, when I touched the screen on screen 3 it moved the cursor/windows on screen 2. I did buy a second one of these to use at home with my HP touch screen and am hoping it plays well.
