I guess I was looking more for a solid disc not one that looks like a disc with pieces of sand paper attached to it. For a grinder it may be alright but I was a little disappointed with my purchase.

These disks work well. Dewalt made a good, solid product

I sculpt with metal, mainly found steel, and use flap discs in the finishing process often on very rough surfaces. These discs are workhorses, work rapidly and produce fine finishes

Excellent on fiberglass. Really cuts through so be careful. I found controlling it was easy after a little practice. Lasts long time.

Sands well

Bought this to sharpen my mower blades, based on a YouTube video I saw. These work so much better than a grinding wheel. Fast and easy sharpening, wish I had bought these years ago.

The best ive found. used mostly on carbon steel tube and hot roll steel sheet. They last a long time. even at the end of life and hard as a rock, they are still perfect for deburring or chamfering.

As expected. does a good job, holds up well and lasts long. Highly recommended.

They grind down material real fast (and make a LOT of dust). They hold up pretty good as well. I just used one one two different flooring jobs with particleboard subflooring. One was a 9 to 10 inch wide, and 1/4 inch high ring around a toilet flange., it ground down in minutes. The second was a spot where a customers dog would wet the floor under a desk. It was circular about twenty inches in diameter and 3/8 inches high in places. The same disk leveled it out in minutes as well. The disk looked like it had more life in it, but I pitched it anyway (it stank like dog urine).
