So, I thought Id try this after reading outside reviews and learning it is made by American Crew. I normally get the Forming Cream from AC, but this one is almost twice the ounces for the same price! Plus the scent is AWESOME and my hair actually holds better and a little softer than the AC version.

I like my hair to spike. This works well. I do have another product that keeps my hair sticking up better but that product leaves my hair hard. The D:fi product is soft and holds it up for about 4 hours. I alternate its use with the other product. I would buy it again.

Ive been using it for 15 years and I really hope they dont ever stop making it. Its the only product that Ill use as it makes my hair do what I want, but doesnt turn to stone when it hardens. I also like that I can just wet my hands and fix myself up at the end of the day without having to apply more. The fact that it smells awesome is just icing on the cake : )

Ive been using this product for several years now and have found it to be the best for my needs. As soon as you open the product you can smell the pineapple coconut hint which might sound too feminine but its strikingly masculine. The cream is light and one might initially want to use a handful of this stuff but just a pinch of it does the trick. This holds well, never flakes, allows for natural movement/ flow of the hair and smells good.

Ive been searching for the perfect product for my hair type for over a year now, I have an assortment of pomades, waxes, clays, and creams. I have very straight and thick hair, so its hard to find a product that will hold my hair and yet still spread easily through it. I recently started trying out styling creams and I really enjoyed how easily American crew forming cream went into my hair, but the hold wasnt nearly enough for me. When I saw people talking about how this stuff held better and had a similar consistency I went for it... and first of all It spreads well and the hold seems to be better but the SMELL!!! I dont know if i got a particularly potent batch or what but I swear the amount I used in my hair was getting me high haha. Every time I moved I was just overwhelmed by a mixture of pina coladas and chemicals. I wore it to work just once, and I drove there with all my windows down trying to air my hair out. Ill have to find something to do with the rest of it, at least the stuff is cheap.

I live this product! Works amazing in your hair yet it’s not stiff. Very pliable but holds. Lasts a long time

Overall, the scent and value is the best but for some reason, this time for particular is water down on the texture.

I have pretty thick hair and it likes to grow straight. It also just so happens that I look kind of stupid with my hair just laying down straight, so my only hope getting my hair cut in some cool styles. With that styling comes the need to keep it in place and I have had a tough time finding hair product that really has a good enough hold to keep it from going everywhere soon as the wind blows a little bit. I had high hopes for this due to the reviews but this had worse hold than many products I tried. I would rate this as a medium at best. Maybe Im doing it wrong? It might work with very short hair but anything around medium length, look elsewhere. I recommend Hanz De Fuko Claymation!
