DFM Small Square and Marking Center Finder Precision MADE IN USA (Blue)

Excellent quality

This square is very accurate. It’s great for squaring small things or blades on tools. It is easy to use to find the center of a board using the two included pins. The marking hole for centering has a deep hole for the pencil with a small opening for increased accuracy. I recommend having a .7mm mechanical pencil for this.

Not sure how I managed without this before - but makes life easier for transferring lines around and edge.

So, it’s a quality built product, don’t get me wrong. I enjoy it for other small tasks, but the biggest purpose of its purchase for me was the center finder. The hole in the middle that the pencil goes in, is quite large, which when using a mechanical pencil for detailed accuracy it falls a good bit short. Sure if you used a cheap sharpened pencil that’s been ground down to a nub it would work but that would additional yield a 2 mm thick line which I wouldn’t agree is precise. It works raw for some applications, but for full on accuracy of this, I’m disappointed. If DFM is seeing this, as I hope they check their reviews. Solid product, just wish that hole was considerably smaller for better accuracy. That’s all guys.

I love this square I use it to check everything in the shop. I use it all the time. Stays in my work apron so it’s always handy

Overall I really like this little guy, the centering pins are pretty helpful.

I love my DFM small square. Super handy for layout work, especially as a saddle square. Well worth the money, and you’re supporting American jobs with your purchase.
