> 3 dayI think there are folks who really love this thing because it is so small. Talk of putting it in apron pockets and the like. For me, I want a precision square for wood-working and was a bit shocked by how small this is. I think anybody that understands math knows that the longer a square is, the more it will show out of square conditions (think a short vs. long level). Its cute and Im going to keep it, but man I wish it was 2 or 3 times bigger. A lot of dough for something you could put in your mouth and still be able to whistle.

> 3 dayEven inside the shop I have a set of tools I keep on my person when working; pencil, knife, tape, etc. You can add one more to the list. This DFM Small Square is a must. It comes up all the time in woodworking, you need to check square this item can get it done with accuracy and usability. It isnt a monster that is bulky to carry around the shop, it is perfect for an apron pocket. The quality of the tool is awesome, and best of all it is made in the U.S.A. A great feature of the square is it allows you to use the provided pins to center mark boards. Quick and easy, no measuring needed (because we all know that 3/4 board doesnt mean a true 3/4). If you are looking to make piston fit items, this square can help you do it. I didnt get anything for the review, these are my own words and I am not a robot or a paid reviewer. Im just a small scale woodworker that appreciates quality tools and decided that I would write a review to help you guys as consumers buy something that is worth the money and not a piece of crap. Side Note: Ordering from Amazon.com, mine did not come with the centering pins. I contacted the manufacturer (he could not have been more helpful and nice), and he sent me the pins at no charge to me. I would definitely purchase this and other products from DFM again. Ronnie

> 3 dayCool little square from a small company. Youll probably reach for it more often that youd think, so many little uses.

> 3 dayI love this tiny square edge. I can easily use the two pegs and pencil hole to mark the center of a board edge, as well as make sure my scroll saw blade is squared.

> 3 dayI just got this, and so far Im impressed. I honestly dont have a square that I trust to make a real comparison to, but it passes the pencil test, with corners closed even when I use a Mitutoyo12 inch scale in butted against the legs to extend the length of the drawn lines. Laying either leg on a granite inspection plate and shining a flashlight behind it does not show light coming through at all. And the legs caliper out evenly from end to end as well, with no measurable taper. Pricey, but you do get what you pay for.
