Realized that some of the stitches (like the hearts, etc.) should have been stitched in first, but directions did not elaborate on this. I was not able to put the hearts on the vase in because I had done the satin stitches first. The finished product is beautiful and the colors are absolutely gorgeous on the black background. The only small suggestion I would have is a little extra directions.

Several of the thread colors came up short and I had to do some creative substituting to complete the project. While I am an experienced needlepointer, I found this piece unnecessarily complex and challenging. Some of the color changes were difficult to discern from the stamped artwork and too many of fields were ridiculously small and tedious to work. This detracted from the relaxation and pleasure I usually experience when needlepointing.

A very complicated cross stitch; I would only recommend this kit for an experienced stitcher. Now I know to stay away from Dimensions Gold Collections.

I have not begun this picture. I have a few others to finish first. I looked at the colors in the package and am excited to start it. It was packaged well, no damage at all. It will be a masterpiece when finished.

My incomplete canvas has a tear in it. Is there any way to mend it so the entire thing doesn’t unravel?

The design is lovely and the materials are good quality. Its perfect if you are just starting out and want something that is challenging and rewarding, but not too difficult. The finished project is meant to be framed, but it makes a wonderful throw pillow too, if you are skilled in that area.

Good design. Took a long time to arrive.
