Beautiful picture. Very complicated instructions about which color to use. Multi-strand thread difficult to use

It arrived ok. A little longer than usual but its Christmas so everything is slower.

It is exactly what I want. Love doing crewel and embroidery and find the colors and design just perfect. Because of the busy season, I have not begun this project. Look forward to doing so in the near future.

First off... before I ordered this kit I made sure that if I ran out of thread, Dimensions would send me what I needed. That is NOT true. The package even gives a phone number to call for replacement thread. I ran out of several colors and called the number on the package, only to be directed to an email link. I emailed them as per instructed and today received a reply with a LONG list of DMC and Anchor floss that would be good matches..... .not exact but close. From the list I had to check local stores and online to find what I needed. No one store on or off line had all of the colors that I needed. I have ordered the needed floss at my own expense. Not a large amount, but still my money. So, bottom line, even though I really like this kit, Tuscan View, I am only about 1/4 of the way through it and may or may not need more replacement floss and then Ill have to go through this procedure all over again. I used all of the thread very frugally except one color where I had to frog a section. Im very disappointed in Dimensions (Simplicity) for changing their policy... they should remove the 800 number from the packages. UPDATE 4/1/21. I was able to purchase what I needed at Michaels in person... the problem, since the replacement colors were for areas that had already been stitched and the DMC replacement colors offered by Dimensions, were not matches, some were close and some were completely different shades of the colors. None of them can be used in areas close to areas already done. The difference is very noticeable. They only gave choices for DMC and Anchor (which I could not find anywhere.) It would increase the cost of the finished project, but if I seen a Dimensions kit that I really like, I may consider ordering it and buying DMC colors (from the above chart) for larger areas, backgrounds etc.. and substituting them for the kit floss. Doesnt seem fair does it?

Have been working on this since January 2016. Going a lot fast than I figured. Really easy to follow instructions and everything was there. Almost half way done and it seems like there will be extra thread to put aside in case it is needed. Seller shipped real quick to, I got it in under two days! I used my free Amazon prime shipping and about 30 hours after I ordered I had it. Was awesome! Thank you for ou!

I ordered this product so that I would have something to do of an evening that would keep my hands busy. This was perfect! I had never done any needlepoint before, and on opening the package it was a little intimidating with all the thread. I perservered, however, and am just waiting for the needlepoint to dry after blocking it (it did become warped because of the stitching, but easily stretched back into shape with damp blocking - the threads are colourfast) before I can frame it and hang it on the wall! There was plenty of thread for the entire project, which actually has finished dimensions of 11x14 inches, not 12x16 as it states in the description. The canvas is printed in full colour which is great. It took about 2 months to finish, doing about 2-3 hours a night. But it was truly a labour of love, and I cant wait to show it off to people when they come to the house! I highly recommend this product, and will definitely be ordering more of these needlepoints. The only problem is which one to choose!

Dimensions makes wonderful needlepoint kits! The painting on the canvas is easy to follow, as are the directions. The colors are beautiful. For anyone with arthritis in their fingers, please try these kits. You will be delightfully surprised at how easy this cotton embroidery floss is to use. So much easier than the wool yarn that some kits contain. It hurts my finger joints (arthritis) to pull wool yarn through the spaces on canvas. But, with Dimensions cotton embroidery floss, the floss just glides easily through the spaces in the canvas. The floss covers beautifully and works up quickly. Its so much fun working this beautiful pattern & is very relaxing. I enjoy doing this needlepoint while my husband & I watch movies on our DVD player. The painted canvas is also easy to see. I have also purchased Dimensions smaller kits and they all worked up beautifully, too. They are lovely framed.

I love this cross stitch! Im doing it and gifting it to my mom. Shes going to love it. Ive already messed up a few times but you cant tell because its SO BUSY! This is a great buy Im loving doing it! Might be the hardest one Ive done so far because theres so many different stitches and thread counts.
