Beautiful piece but mine was printed very crooked. The edges on the sides were not printed straight down where it should have been. This is making it difficult to make it look right. This is a gift for a friends birthday so I am hoping by matting and framing it, it will hide this issue. Ive been stitching for 35 years and I want to say again that this piece turns out beautiful ( except for the crooked issue )

Dimensions Gold kits are wonderful as they include everything you need to finish the product. This is not a kit for a beginner as it is pretty difficult. The chart and instructions are a tad small, but manageable.

I purchased this kit to stitch a matching stocking that is out of production. I have a pattern but the Dimensions floss is not possible to purchase separately. Dimensions kits used to be made in the USA but now are being produced in China. However, their quality did not suffer because of this change. I actually prefer the floss already separated on the organizer as opposed to tied together in bundles and needed to be sorted. The fabric is a bit stiffer than it used to be in their kits but it is acceptable to me. For some floss colors there are a lot of leftovers while others are not sufficient. However, the company has excellent customer service and sends missing floss free of charge. Overall, Dimensions kits are of high quality and well designed, with a lot of backstitch and French knots. Dimensions palette is different from DMC floss, especially their blues.

This is not an easy kit- a lot of things going on in the pattern, but it is easy to understand and do.

This is a complex kit, but thats why I bought it. I separated the colors and put them on individual spools, them put in a holding kit. This is a $5 investment and makes the project go smoothly. For those who are confused by two sheets, simply find the center point on the fabric and work out from the center. What helps with this kit is the number of half stiches. I have been totally enjoying the project and appreciate the complexity! Looking forward to the finished product, and my wife is too!

Great kit. Not really for beginners but more experienced stitchers.

The picture is lovely, but this is the second Dimensions kit in a row that didnt have enough thread. The other one took a couple of weeks to get the remaining thread. Quality control is lacking.
