> 3 dayMy husband has a callus on the ball of his foot behind his great toe that requires frequent removal. The return of the callus happens quickly. He has been hospitalized several time with infection at that site. The last time was in December. After his return home and before the callus reformed I cut patch in half and covered the spot where the callus forms. Five months later the callus at a minimum. I file it periodically. This extra padding has protected it. I cut in half because of the location and the border would have to stick on his toes. The great thing is since the patch itself has adhesive it is not open on the cut edge. It has been a God send.

> 3 dayThese are the same wound dressings they have in the hospital. The entire thing has adhesive including the gauze part making it a great seal around the wound. I had used it on an abcess and it worked out beautifully. Im also allergic to adhesive Im tape and this didnt give me any reaction.

> 3 dayThese foam dressings are some of the best out there and are very adherent and easy to remove. They’re only a few Pennie’s more than otc bandaid dressings but way more adherent and add soft cushion and protection to your wound.

> 3 dayThese bandages work fine, but if you have super sensitive skin like I do, I suggest you go with the Mepilex by Molnlycke even though it is more expensive. The silicon that touches your skin is a bit stiffer than the other brand. It’s an It seems fine over the wound, but it is stiffer than the other brand. At the edges where it was cut, I found it irritated my skin, and with my ankle wound, I had to stop walking, because it was irritating enough on the edges that I was concerned about creating more issues. When I changed back to the other brand, the irritation disappeared. If your skin is not sensitive, these are great, and should work fine. If your skin is sensitive, suggest mepilex by Molnlycke. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be sold on Amazon anymore.

> 3 dayI really liked the foam dressing and the border was just perfect as far as adhesiveness goes. I use them on some sore that I have on my thighs that are very large.
